"We've decided what's going to happen to you, Miss. Lovato," the nurse says. "You will be going home, but only under the conditions. You must go to therapy twice every week and if you notice anything off at all, you have to come back."

Mom nods, "I understand," she says.

"Since it's been confirmed that you've been to psych before, we will let it go," the nurse continues, "Now, you better get packing!"

I smile, glad that my mom will be able to come home today. I help her pack up the few belongings that she has in the hospital room into her suitcase with Wilmer. Then we're ready to bring Mom home!

We all climb into the car and drive home. The drive is over quickly and when we arrive at home, I help Mom carry her suitcase into the house. I watch Wilmer grab Mom's hand and help her walk inside. "Guys, eww!" I complain.

"Jasmine," Mom says, "If you'd like you can go to your room."

"Thanks so much!" I exclaim, dropping Mom's suitcase and running up the stairs to my room.

I hear Mom's loud laugh faintly as I close the door behind me and reach for my guitar. I'm in such a good mood but I already know that the high won't last. I strum a few chords, trying to compose a few lines for a song that I'm working on writing. I don't think it's any good but it's fun and a good way to cope now that I don't have my blades.

I'm so glad that Mom and Wilmer are happy. No way am I going to ruin anything for them. I just hope that I can do it all by myself.
