The only sound in the interrogation room was the ticking clock, well that was until detective Regan burst through the interrogation room doors.

"Ok Keven you are the first out of your little group of friends I wanted to talk to because you are the one who saw the body first, ok?" Detective Regan asked Keven and Keven nodded and said he understood.

"Ok first question,what were you guys doing down by that area of Lightwell river at 7:30 at night when it was almost pitch black out side?" Detective Regan asked.

"Ashley, Nick, Natalie, and I were going for a swim and I said we should go down to the far end where nobody swims and there was no broken glass." Kevan simply answered the question.

"Ok next question, did you see anything or hear anything unusual or suspicious while you were down at the beach?" Detective Regan asked.

"No." Keven simply answered again.

"Ok." Detective Regan said as he scribbled something down is his notebook the he asked "was there any tattoos or scares visible on her body, anything other than the bullet hole."

Keven thought for a minute and said "no but she had a nose piercing and 3 ear piercing holes on each ear." Then he thought for another minute and spoke again and said "why does it matter if she had tattoos or anything like that?"

"Well first of all a tattoo or a piercing as you said will help us identify the girl because we can take a picture of the tattoo and take it to a tattoo parlour and see if anyone knows who she is and see if they remember giving her the tattoo, all we know about her is that she is a 17 year old girl who went missing a month ago, we did not have a name or any ID of who she is." Detective Regan told Keven.

Keven nodded and said "ok."

Detective Regan asked one more question, "ok one more question, did you see any bullet remnants where you found the body or blood near the scene?"

"No but I smelt an unusual smell, like gas or something and there was a rope that had blood on it and I recall seeing thin rope marks around her wrists and the gas smell was coming from her shirt and there was burn marks on her shirt." Keven said.

"Ok that will be all for now" as he scribbled down everything Keven said and then said "thank you Keven that was actually very helpful"

"No problem detective." Keven said as he walked out of the interrogation room.

Detective Regan talked to Natalie next and then Ashley and then Nick and they all had the same thing to say except for the details of the gas smell and the rope marks or the burned shirt, detective Regan asked them about the shirt burns, the rope marks and the gas smell but they said they did not pay attention to any of those things and did not notice any of them.

After an 2 hours of interrogation the 4 friends went to pops for lunch and discussed the situation with their parents when they got home.

Detective Regan used Keven's information about the piercings and found who gave her the piercings and he found out that the 17 year old girl's name is Nicole Burns.
