The Truth about Nicole

As Nick was running for the street to Ashley's house all he could think about was how could his mom not tell Mr. Williams that Nicole was his daughter.

5 minuets later Nick was in the Williams' front porch and he took a deep breath and knocked on the door knowing that he would forever change the Williams' life.

A few seconds after Nick started knocking, Mr Williams opened the door. Mr. Williams realized it was Nick at the door and said, "I'll go get Ashley."

Nick sighed and said, "Actually I was hoping to talk to you, it's really important."

"Sure son come on in." Ashley's dad always called him son because Nick and Ashley have been friend since before kindergarten.

Nick followed Mr. Williams into the living room and sat on the couch. Mr. Williams sat in the living chair across from nick and said, "What is troubling you, you look worried."

Nick sighed and said, "There is something troubling me and it very well involves you."

"Okay tell me what's bothering you." Mr Williams said with concern.

"Well you know that body that was found in the river?" Nick asked and Mr. Williams nodded. "Well her name is Nicole and well she is my sister, my have sister to be honest."

Mr. Williams sat there in confusion and said, "Nick what does this have to me?"

"Well Mr. Williams, because you are Nicole's father.

"Wait what?!!" Mr. Williams said as he stood up and ran his hand through his hair in frustration.

As Mr. Williams paced around the living room and sighed countless amount of times and all Nick could think was why did he say anything.

"So you are telling me that your half sister is my daughter that I did t know about until after her body was found in a river?!!" Mr. Williams shouted.

"Yes, my parents weren't going to tell you so that this whole thing wouldn't become messier than it already was but I thought you had a right to know that you had another daughter." Nick said as he stood and walked to the door.

"Thank you for telling me, although I wish your mom would have told me sooner." Mr. Williams said as he followed Nick.

"Anytime Mr. Williams, I just hope I didn't cause you any trouble." Nick said as he stepped out of Mr. Williams' house.

"You didn't and thanks again Nick."

Now Mr Williams just had to figure what he would do about the Burns' family knowing that he was linked to Nicole and possibly the police knowing too.

   -----The Burns' house-----
"Nick your home!" Nick's mom said as she jumped up out of her seat in the living room.

"Yes no I'm home I just went down the street to see Ashley's father and tell him the truth about Nicole."

"Ok then." Nick's mom said as she sat down on the couch and looked very worried.

"Mom what's wrong?" Nick asked as his father sat beside his wife and rubbed her back.

"You mother and I really did not want Chris Williams to know the truth about Nicole because we thought her would be mad that we gave her away for adoption and he would have a lawsuit against us for not giving him the right to his daughter." Mr. Burns' said.

"I'm really sorry mom and dad but I really did feel that he had the right to know that he had another daughter." Nick said sympathetically.

After dinner nick went upstairs and watched T.V. After two hours of watching T.V in his room nick got board and decided that he would play around with his guitar, but suddenly his phone rang. Nick answered the phone and it was his mom.

"Mom why are you calling me from downstairs why didn't you just come up here?" Nick asked on the phone.

"Oh I was just rolling you that I will not be here in the morning when you get up, I'll be at the gym." Nick's mom said.

"Ok mom I appreciate you telling me but I'm not 5 years old." Nick answered a little annoyed.

"Did you just sass me Nick?" Nick's mom asked.

"No of course not, bye mom." Nick said and hung up his phone.

The next morning...
Nick woke up and got ready for school and it was weird he though but could not figure out why. He soon remembered that it was because his mom wasn't there.

  ------- 3:30 pm -------
Nick walked in the door of the house after school and unpacked his lunch but thought us was strange his mom did not say anything to him yet and then he realized she wasn't home. Nick walked all through the house yelling her "mom" but when there was no answer he decided to call her.

Nick called his mom 2 times and she did not pick up both times and he decide to call one more time because their time's a charm, or so her thought.

Nick was growing very worried about his mom. He had texted her 37 times and called her 8 times in total, but she did not answer and it had been 45 minuets since he got home.

Nick called his dad but then his dad walked in the door and he hung up.

"What's up son why were you calling me?" Nick's dad asked as he put down his work bags.

"Oh I was just calling you to see if you have heard or seen mom." Nick said hoping his dad would say "yes."

"No I haven't but she just must be at the store and didn't hear her phone." Nick's dad said not worried about it.

"I don't think so dad, I've been home for 45 minuets now and she has not returned any calls or any texts." Nick said with worry lacing his words.

"Maybe you are right Nick." Nick's dad said and sighed.

"Well what do we do dad?" Nick asked.

Nick's dad looked at home and said "I'll call the police and report it."

"Ok good plan." Nick said as he plunked down in the couch.

"Hi I'm calling to report an amber alert." Nicks dad told the police station.
