Unmasked

Nick woke up in his bed but there was a dead weight on him. Nick looked down to see Natalie cuddled next to him with her arm draped over his stomach. Nick enjoyed this moment of watching Natalie sleep, she was so peaceful and rather cute he admitted.

Natalie woke up and looked up at Nick. Nick admired how Natalie's eyes twinkled and the way the sun was shining through the window illuminated her face perfectly.

"Good morning" Natalie mumbled in a low husky morning voice. This is a perfect Saturday morning was all Nick could think until Natalie shot up and jumped out of bed and said
"We didn't—"

"No we just cuddled all night." Nick cut her off and chuckled a bit.

Natalie sighed in relief and sat in the edge of Nick's bed. "Come here" Nick said lifting up the covers and Natalie cuddled against Nick again.

Nick and Natalie cuddled in Nick's bed and enjoyed this wonderful Saturday morning talking and every now and then they would kiss.

In the middle of a kiss there was a noise if breaking glass and footsteps. Nick and Natalie got out of Nick's bed and Natalie went in her room.

"What are you doing? We need you see who's down there!" Nick whisper yelled.

"I'm grabbing something." Natalie whisper yelled back.

"What are you grabbi—" Nick stoped in mid sentence when he saw Natalie holding a gun.

"My father and mother gave me this on my birthday last year just in case of an emergency." Natalie whispered to Nick handing him the gun.

"Why are you giving it to me?!" Nick whispered back.

"Because you are the man in the house right now and your going to protect me." Natalie whispered.

"You'd really trust me to protect you?" Nick asked.

"I'd trust you with anything now let's go." Natalie told Nick still whispering.

Natalie dialled 911 while Nick and Natalie snuck downstairs and told them to come to 3384 Nepali drive, which was Natalie's house. Nick got in the living room and saw a broken window and a man in a Black Hood tearing everything apart.

"Who are you and what the hell are you doing here?!" Nick said pointing the gun and the man who turned around.

When the man turned around Nick saw that it was the same man at the school shooting, standing 25 feet in front of him.

"You know who I am and I think you know why I'm here." The man said.

"No I honestly don't know who you are a what your doing here so care to in lighten me?" Nick said.

"Of course you know me, I'll killed your father, mother, sister and Mrs. Kremp and also Detective Regan, I'm here for your notebook. Where is it?" The man said.

"I'm not telling you and how do you even know about my notebook?" Nick asked still pointing the gun at the man.

"Last night I came here to kill your girlfriend and spy on you and it's a good thing I decided to because I heard you guys talking about the notebook." The man said and Nick heard a quite sniffle from Natalie, she was crying.
