Justice For All

It has been one month since Chris Williams was shot and caught by Nick and Natalie. There was justice for all.

Ashley, Chris' daughter, apologized for everything that her dad had done. The victim's families could now properly grieve, including Nick. Chris had killed 5 people, one of them including his own daughter. If Chris would not have died he would have been charged with 5 counts of 1st degree murder and sent to a private mental institution.

Nick still lives with the Gurchner's and to be completely honest he likes living with them, yes he would love to have his parents back, but the Gurchner's have taken care of him and it was now the night of Christmas Eve.

Nick and Natalie have been dating for 2 and a half months now. Nick and Natalie are inseparable after what happened with the Black Hood. Nick has grown very protective of Natalie and makes her his top priority.

Nick and Natalie were sitting in front of the fire together while Natalie's parent got Natalie's present ready. Nick and Natalie's parents, mostly Nick though, decided to get Natalie a puppy for Christmas.

"Where did my parents go?" Natalie asked Nick who was playing with Natalie's curled hair.

"They went to go get your present." Nick said.

"Do you know what they got me?" Natalie asked.

"Yes, but I'm not telling you." Nick said teasingly.

"Why do get to know?" Natalie's asked.

"I get to know because it's from me too, it was actually my idea to get you what we got you." Nick said kissing the top of Natalie's head.

"Oh" Natalie said.

A moment later Natalie's parents came in the living room with a present box with holes all over it and a little black nose sticking out of one of the holes.

Natalie's parents set the box down in front of Nick and Natalie and pulled off the lid. A little puppy head popped out of the box with a little red bow. Natalie took the puppy out of the box and she was a golden retriever with big brown eyes and fluffy, soft fur.

"Awe she is so cute." Natalie said as she held the puppy and pet her.

"What are you going to name her?" Nick asked as he pet the puppy.

Natalie thought for a minute and then said "Lola."

"Hi Lola." Nick said as he pet the dog.

Nick and Natalie pet and played with Lola for a half hour before Natalie's mom spoke up and said "do you guys want to open the rest of your presents tonight or tomorrow morning?"

Nick and Natalie whispered back and forth and Natalie finally said "we'll open them tomorrow morning."

"Ok we are going to bed then." Natalie's dad said as he and his wife went upstairs.

Nick and Natalie nodded in response and Nick looked at his phone and saw that it was 11:43 pm. "It's 11:43." Nick said.

"What do you want to do? I'm not really tired." Natalie said

"I don't know. Do you want to take Lola on her first walk?" Nick asked.

"Nick it's 11:43 at night what if we get jumped?" Natalie said with a little chuckle.

"I'll protect you." Nick said.

"Ok well your obviously not going to give up on taking Lola for a walk." Natalie said laughing.

Nick got up and held his hand out for Natalie, which she gladly took.

Nick and Natalie got Lola in her harness and clipped on her leash, five minutes later they were out the door and starting on their walk. Nick and Natalie walked hand in hand and chit chatted.
