Charles jumped, startled at someone interrupting his thoughts.
"Um, y-yeah! I'm- I'm fine! I...I'm just..100% f-fine!" Charles rambled frantically, laughing awkwardly. Sam looked at him worriedly, but decided not to question him any further, in this ask anyways. George just looked up from the laptop for a second, and yes, he had become obsessed with the laptop, before looking back at the screen.
"W-why would you ask if I-I'm okay or not? Of course- of course I am! W-why wouldn't I b-be?" Charles continued to ramble, fidgeting with his hands. Sam looked away from him, and at Jade.
"I-I'm sorry he doesn't tr-trust you. I-I can try and talk to him f-for you, if you want." He said, smiling softly.
