Ask Sammy Boi and Good ol' King George some stuff! Or interact with them, it doesn't matter. Personally, I wouldn't give Sammy a pat on the head, but it's your choice what to ask them!

"Th-thank you!" Sam exclaimed, grinning widely as he already started eating the chocolate. Not heeding the asker's warning, he quickly ate all the chocolate at once.
"W-why do I have a h-headache?" He mumbled after he finished, leaning onto George's arm and closing his eyes.
"Sammy, you probably should have listened to the asker and not eaten all the chocolate at once." George said, running a hand through Sam's hair. Sam pulled his knees up to his chest, curling into a ball and cuddling up to George.
