"I really l-like the colour orange! I-it's nice.." Sam said, smiling at Jade. He was excited at the thought of getting his own laptop.
"I like red, as I said last ask." George said simply, not really paying attention. He had borrowed Sam's phone, and was playing some dumb mobile game.
"O-Oh, um...I like p-purple, I- I guess. But you- you can't r-really give me a laptop...'cause I can't touch th-things." Charles muttered, but didn't seem as upset about that as he used to be.
"Wow, this ask is gonna be short. Sam, do something to get us more reads, quick!" Charles joked, managing to not stutter in front of Jade for once.
"Um, w-what? Uh..." Sam couldn't think of anything on the spot, so he just laughed awkwardly, hoping that it would somehow be funny enough that Charles wouldn't make another horrible joke. Luckily, it was, and finally the ask could end.
