Chapter 1: Telling Soonyoung

  Jihoon's POV

  Jihoon walked down the hallways of the school. He felt a little out of place knowing he was carrying a human in him. Not many male students would get pregnant or even come out as gay until they graduated.

  The school wasn't accepting about the LGBTQ community, nor the kids that got pregnant at this age. Most of the time they would get bullied and made fun of.

  I'm lucky I won't have to deal with it. Just one week and my mistake will be erased from history.

  Jihoon sighed from relief. Once he got to class, he went to sit at his desk. Since the bell doesn't ring until another six minutes, Jihoon decided to study for a test they were having the day after tomorrow. When he looked up at the door, he saw Soonyoung walk in.

  Damn it. I totally forgot he was in my class. To make things worst, he's in all of my classes except one.

  He silently watched Soonyoung walk over to Seokmin, his best friend. "Hey, um... I think... I think I messed up on the day of that party last month before school started." Although he was talking quietly, Jihoon could still hear them.

  "What do you mean? Why are you telling me about this now?" Seokmin said nonchalantly.

  "I didn't know how to tell you, but I think I had sex with someone! I don't even know if we used protection! I don't even think I know the person! What if I got him or her pregnant?!" He whisper-shouted. His tone seemed worried and anxious.

  Jihoon got up and walked over to them. He said, "Meet me during lunch." Then he went back to his seat, didn't turn around, and continued to try and focus on studying. Still, he thought about what he was going to say to Soonyoung.

Time skip:
Lunch Time

  By the time both knew, it was time for lunch. Jihoon waited in his seat with a couple of snacks he found in his pantry and a sandwich. Soonyoung was the first to approach him.

  "Hey... Let's go talk," Soonyoung said.

  Jihoon nodded his head at Soonyoung before he turned to his hyung and said, "Jisoo-hyung make sure no one eats my food." Glaring at everyone before he left, he turned around and followed Soonyoung.

Soonyoung's POV

  They ended up at an empty hallway, perfect for one to have a  private conversation.

  "So what do you want to talk about?" Soonyoung had hope that Jihoon was confessing his love for him. He's had a crush on the boy for a year now. Jihoon's the one who made him realize he was gay.

  He then recalled his conversation with Seokmin earlier. His heart sank. He regretted going to that party now. Still, he was going to take care of the baby. He wasn't those guys who don't take responsibility.

  "I went to the party last month." Jihoon began. "In the morning, I ran away from someone I knew and who I was in bed with. A month later, I go to the doctors an he tells me I'm pregnant."

  Soonyoung stood still. He had slept with Jihoon. His mind went blank, but his face showed what he was feeling.

  "Why are you crying?"

  "Huh?"

  "I asked, why are you crying?"

  "I guess I'm just happy because I now know that I didn't get some random stranger pregnant. I'm glad it was you. Don't worry I'll help-"

  Jihoon cut him off. "I'm having an abortion." He stares at him with emotionless expression, yet serious at the same time.

  "What? You can't!" Soonyoung protested.

  "And why not?" Jihoon challenged.

  "Because... I'll help you... and you shouldn't blame an innocent infant for one's mistake."

  Jihoon sighed. "I'm sorry, but I've already made up my mind and the appointment is next week."

  "Are you sure about this?"

  "Mhm."

  "Okay." The taller felt a pang in his chest. He didn't think Jihoon was so harsh.

  "I'll be off now. Don't even bother trying to convince me," Jihoon coldly said while walking back toward the cafeteria.

  Soonyoung was depressed the whole day after that. Right before he went to sleep, he thought: Maybe if I show him what a blessing babies can be then he might not want the abortion. With that said, he silently went to sleep after he thought of a plan.

Time skip:
The next morning

  When Soonyoung woke up, he felt more hyper than any other day. He was ready to put his plan into action. He drove to school with the car his parents had given him when he was fifteen. 

  His family used to be really close, but after he came out as gay to his parents, a year after getting his car, his parents started treating him coldly and started ignoring him.

  Eventually they stopped supporting him financially, which is why he went and got a job. Now he is seventeen, still working and pushing himself. He gets high grades in all subjects, though it is not enough to impress his parents.

  When his sister got pregnant, their parents weren't exactly on the same page as her. Once they finally excepted the child, she had a miscarriage. She fell down from a chair she was using to reach for a book in their small library.

  That is the only reason why he wants to stop Jihoon from getting an abortion. He hopes the plan he thought of will be able to change the other's mind.

  Once he was inside the school, he went looking for Jihoon in the classroom. He saw him studying, too focused on the task at hand.

  He quickly walked up to his crush and put his hand over the book Jihoon was 'reading' to get his attention.

  "Give me one week," Soonyoung sternley said.

  "For what?" The pregnant boy answered confused.

  Soonyoung answered more quietly now, "To convince you to keep the baby."

  The other stared at him in utter shock. Jihoon obviously wasn't expecting Soonyoung to try and convince him to keep the fetus. "No."

  Soonyoung flinched at the harsh answer, but continued his effort. "Let's make a deal."

  "About what?"

  "If I convince you to keep the baby before your appointment, then we keep the baby, and you learn to love him or her."

  "And if you don't?"

  "Then you get the abortion and I'll leave the subject go. Deal?"

  Jihoon looked as if he was thinking about it. Then he said,

"Deal."
