Chapter 16: Trouble begins

Soonyoung's POV

  Even though it hurts, I won't give up hope. Tears started falling from his eyes. Don't cry you idiot! You'll make Jihoon feel bad if he notices in the morning.

  He stopped crying, so Jihoon could guess that he was going to be fine. In the morning, he was a bit tired. The good thing was it didn't look like he had been crying all night.

  When both were done changing, eating and getting into the car, they drove off to school in an awkward silence. Even when they got off, they still kept away from each other.

  As they walked into school grounds at different paces, someone shoved Soonyoung to the ground out of nowhere.

  "Hey look it's the fag. You know it's disgusting for a gender to love the same one." He cooed harshly.

  "I don't know what you mean." Soonyoung said with his voice low, trying to get off the floor only to be shoved back down.

  "Oh shut up. Jiyeong told me your little secret."

  "Jiyeong told me about you and someone dating. Who is it?"

  "She's lying." He coldly said. "She's just jealous that I'm the best friend of someone she likes."

  "Oh, who is it?"

  "That's none of your business."

  The boy smirked. "Your gay aren't you?"

  Soonyoung got really irritated with all the questions that he exploded. "You know what! Yes, I am gay! If you have a problem with that then deal with it!"

  "Of course I have problems with it! It's disgusting to see someone like you come to our school!" The guy punched Soonyoung in the cheek. "It isn't right! It even says it in the Bible!"

  "Who says it isn't right!" Soonyoung shoved the guy off him and threw punches after another. He heard someone call his name through the sound of punches.

  "Soonyoung!" It was Jihoon. He stared at him with mixed emotions. So many that the older couldn't read them.

  Two teachers were now pulling them apart. They were quickly sent to the office to be punished for what they did.

  "Care to explain what happened?" The principal asked.

  Soonyoung was about to speak, but the boy, who punched him, beat him to it.

  "He got mad that I asked him if he was gay." The guy said bluntly. "Since he is, I asked him another question, and he suddenly attacked me."

  "Your suspended for two days, Mr. Kwon." The principal said.

  "But-!"

  "I won't allow any violence in this school. I'll be calling your parents." Those were his final word was. No one could go against them. No one.

  "No need. They don't care." He said as he got up and walked towards the exit of the school.

  I hate this fucking school. They discriminate people by their sexuality, color, and if they're poor.

  Soonyoung didn't like this school ever since he stepped foot in it. Ever since he learned how people were in this place.

  He wish he could leave, but Jihoon needed him to be there for the baby. Now, he was having to be sent 'home'.

  "Soonyoung! Wait!" A familiar voice rang in the now empty hallways.

  Class had started, so why isn't he in class?

  He turned around to see the person he expected and loved. Jihoon looked at him with a look of worriment and sadness.

  "What do you want?"

  "Let me treat the wound on your face." He said worriedly and concerned.

  "Why? They can heal on its own."

  "Stop being like that and come with me." Now he said it in a determined way. The shorter grabbed his hand towards the infirmary.

  When they got there, the nurse let Jihoon tend to the scratches on Soonyoung's face that were left by a ring the guy was wearing.

  "Your bleeding a bit." Jihoon now had a bit of gentleness in his voice.

  "I know."

  "Why did the two of you start fighting?"

  "I thought you saw what happened?"

  "No, I didn't. I just over heard someone that two people were fighting, and, since you weren't with me, I immediately thought it was you. Seems like I was right."

  The gentleness in Jihoon's voice was still there. It made Soonyoung think about how Jihoon felt about him, and what had happened yesterday.

  I bet Jihoon is just acting this way, so we could get along. I bet he actually hates me because I got him pregnant. I doubt he wanted to have a child with me at this age and in that situation.

  "You don't have to act like you care." Soonyoung lowered his head.

  "What?" He felt Jihoon tense up.

  "You heard me, and don't act stupid either. I'm leaving."

  "Soonyoung..."

  "I don't want to talk at the moment."

With that, Soonyoung left without another word.
