Chapter 28: Will you go out with me?

Soonyoung's POV

  I wonder what Jihoon wanted to ask Jisoo-hyung. Soonyoung thought as he watched the younger leave with the older.

  "Don't worry, Soonyoung." Jeonghan said. "Jisoo already likes someone so don't get worked up."

  Soonyoung's face burned. "I'm n-not jealous! I was just wondering what Jihoon might ask Jisoo-hyung."

  "That's all a mystery to us. Jihoon rarely asks anyone for help. Unless, it's that important." Minghao said.

  I'll ask him at the end of school. And maybe, I could try one more time.

Time skip

  After school, Soonyoung decided to head over to the orphanage to visit Mrs. Seungyeon. He wanted to ask her something important.

  Jihoon was fine tagging along with him. It had been a while, since he hasn't seen Dasom and Mrs. Seungyeon.

  "Can I ask you something? Privately?" Soonyoung asked when they got there. From the corner of his eye, he could see Jihoon's confused and questioning look.

  "Sure." Mrs. Seungyeon said.

  The old lady led him to the familiar hallway. The hallway that led to the office, where his sister and him had a intense discussion.

  "What is you want to talk about?" Mrs. Seungyeon sat in the chair behind the desk and watched Soonyoung take a seat in front of her.

  "I want to ask out Jihoon, but I don't know how."

  "Do you think Jihoon likes you? Are you sure this isn't going to hurt your relationship with him?"

  "I've told him my feelings before, but that was when Jihoon was when he was at the beginning of his pregnancy. Now, that we've spent more time together, I want to try one last time."

  "If you want to show him that you love him, bring him somewhere you cherish, or tell him something that you've never told anyone."

  "You think that'll help him know how much I care about him?"

  "Of course! Anyone would get the hint. Well, unless they're dense, but Jihoon seems to be one who will notice the effort."

  Seungyeon smiled at Soonyoung, giving him the feeling of being supported.

  When they were driving back home, Soonyoung took a turn that was familiar to him. He planned to take Jihoon to his favorite place to take stress out, and also tell him something he thought he should tell Jihoon.

  "Where are we going?" The younger asked.

  "Somewhere special to me." Soonyoung saw the other nod from the corner of his eye and kept driving to there destination.

Time skip

  It took a while to get their, but they finally stopped at a building with stairs that led to a back ally. Soonyoung took Jihoon to that ally where a door was connected to the building they parked in front of.
