It had been about a month since the incident at school. Soonyoung's wounds were healing, and Jihoon had grown bigger.
Today, was a normal morning, but the rest of the day would be exciting. Jihoon woke up to the morning sun shining through the blinds on the window, illuminating the room.
He groaned and slowly got up, rubbing his left eye. He got up to go to the restroom, which he was annoyed of doing because, through out the night, he was constantly going there.
After that, he went to the kitchen to see what his mom made for breakfast. The whole time, since he had awakened, he forgot that today was his birthday.
"Good morning, Jihoon!" His mom said cheerfully with a big grin on her face.
"Morning mom." He said tiredly. "What's for breakfast?"
"Egg, bacon, pancakes, waffles, and toasted bread!"
"Why did you make so much food?"
His mom looked at him as if he had gone insane. "Don't you remember? It's your birthday."
Opening his eyes wide, he replied, "I totally forgot what today was."
His mom shook her head in disappointment. Literally, who forgets their birthday?
Just then, Soonyoung came jogging in, back hugged Jihoon, and rested his chin on the younger's shoulder. "Happy birthday, Jihoonie."
"Did I miss something? When did you two get together?" Mrs. Lee asked confused.
Jihoon felt his cheeks burn. "We aren't together! Soonyoung stop calling me 'Jihoonie'! And let go of me!" He demanded.
Soonyoung let him go and sat beside him on the stools by the counter. "You're no fun." The tallerpouted.
Jihoon rolled his eyes. He gets so annoying sometimes! "So what did you get me for my birthday?"
"That's a secret." Soonyoung said putting his index finger on his lips. "Your parents and I planned something for today. So, after we eat, go and get dressed."
"Okay."
After eating their morning meal, they all got ready to go. Jihoon decided to where something simple, which included some maternity jeans his mom gave him and an oversized t-shirt.
"Jihoon, my sister came over to-," Soonyoung was cut off by Jihoon's appearance.
"What?" The shorter asked.
"I probably should have mentioned that have to dress fancy not simple."
Jihoon saw the older's outfit wasn't simple like his. He had dark blue blazer, a white turtle neck under, black jeans, and some dress shoes. He had a bit of makeup done on him, and his hair was styled a little, too.
"Oh." Jihoon looked down to the floor. Soonyoung looks really nice in that outfit. He quickly shook his head to get rid of the thought and moved back into the subject. "So, what am I supposed to wear?"
"Hold on." He went downstairs and came back with his sister. "Da-in, can you pick out an outfit for Jihoon and do his makeup."
"Wait, hold on, do I have to be looking that nice?" He a aid with a bewildered face.
"Of course. It is your birthday after all." Da-in said. "Now, let me see your closet."
It didn't take a long time for Jihoon to be ready. He went downstairs along with Soonyoung's sister where the others were waiting.
When he stepped into the living room he heard Soonyoung speak up. "Wow, you look gorgeous."
This made Jihoon's cheeks heat up. He was currently wearing a red blazer with aspects of black, a black shirt under, black maternity jeans, and dress shoes. He had light smokey eye makeup on, and his hair was altered a bit.
"Yeah, whatever. Can we go know?" Jihoon said trying to, ignore what Soonyoung said.
"Let's go guys." Mr. Lee said.
Time Skip
They were all at a fancy restaurant ready to go in, but suddenly Jihoon felt self-conscious. He held back a bit, and Soonyoung noticed that.
"What's wrong, Jihoon?" The older asked.
"It's just... I feel weird. My pregnancy is more... showable." He felt embarrassed for some reason. Maybe it was because he was confessing his insecurities for the first time.
"Hey you'll be fine. Plus, we'll be in a party room where it's only going to be family and friends." Soonyoung comforted the shorter.
"Ok." Jihoon responded. "And thank you,
For everything."
