Chapter 19: Don't hold back tears

Soonyoung's POV

  It's time to go pick up Jihoon. The boy sighed. I hate being like that towards him. Maybe I should tell him.

  It was only because I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone in the last few days. Now I'm going back to school, so of course I have to talk to him.

  Soonyoung knew that distancing himself with Jihoon wasn't a good idea, especially because they were having a child together. Even if the younger didn't accept his feeling, and Soonyoung accepted it, it still hurt.

  But he was determined to forget about his feelings at the moment. The only thing that should be on his mind getting back to a normal relationship with Jihoon.

  As he got to the school, he saw a large group of kids huddled around. They seemed to be throwing eggs and flour at someone.

  His heart began to race in fear. What if it's Jihoon?! Did they find out? To his despair, he was correct.

  He tried pushing past the students around the small boy. It almost looked like every student was outside, either throwing eggs and flour or just watching and recording.

  He saw some of their friends being held back, some being pushed back by the crowd. The rest were probably inside, helping the unaware teachers.

  Students were by the door. They didn't allow anyone entering the school to get help for the helpless boy.

  However, that's not what angered him the most. The one thing that angered him was how Jihoon wasn't doing anything to fight back because there was no way. If he tried fighting back, they'd just hurt him even more.

  Soonyoung finally was able to get through at least half of the people around the circumference of the circle they had made. Within minutes, he was in the front lines of the crowd.

  He ran towards Jihoon and was able to catch an egg that was hurtling near towards the smaller's stomach. Jihoon had his hands protecting the baby as best as he could. The boy's arms were covered in egg and flour.

  "STOP THIS NOW!!!"

  "Oh look, it's the father!" One sneered.

  "Yeah, I'm a father! And I accept that no matter how hard life is going to be!"

  "Does Jihoon accept the baby?! I bet you raped him?! He doesn't look like he's in love with you." This voice was all too familiar. Jiyeong stepped out of the crowd looking at Soonyoung straight in the eyes.

  "I did not do such a thing!"

  "Yeah, whatever." She said, rolling her eyes. "You probably forced him to keep it. Your sick, you know. How can you want a child that just makes your life miserable?"

  Soonyoung was about to answer, but Jihoon beat him to it. "You probably know how miserable life can be, since your mom must've gotten pregnant at an early age."

  The sound of 'Ooo's rang in the air. As for Jiyeong, she just scoffed and didn't say anything else.

  Jihoon continued speaking. "And Soonyoung didn't force me. I don't want an abortion and kill an innocent baby because of our mistake of us both getting drunk at a party."

  With that being said, Jihoon grabbed the oldest hand and quickly walked through the now shocked crowd after finally hearing Jihoon speak about the baby.

  They got to Soonyoung's car and hastily got in. They drove off towards Jihoon's house and waited outside once they got there.

  "Don't hold back the tears." Soonyoung said.

And just like that, Jihoon sobbed on Soonyoung's shoulder.
