  Jihoon's POV

After school, Soonyoung was at the school gates waiting for Jihoon. Once Jihoon walked out, Soonyoung ran towards him.

  "Let's go!"

"Wait!" He yelled as he was pulled by Soonyoung. He pulled his hand away from the father of the child. "I can walk without your help."

  "Ok, but be careful."

  "Tch. Whatever."

Time skip

After they got in Soonyoung's car, they drove off to a place he's never seen to before. It was a three story building that looked beautiful and decent.

"What is this place?" He questioned.

  "You'll see."

They walked in through a pair of glass doors. On them, it said 'Mrs. Seungyeon's Orphanage'. When they walked inside, they saw an old women come up to them smiling.

"Hello Soonyoung. How are you doing?" She had a nice bright yet calm smile. Her skin seemed pretty smooth and looked as if it was well cared for when they were young. To be honest, she looked younger then her age.

"Hello Mrs. Seungyeon. I'm good, thank you for asking. How about you?"

"I'm good. What brings you here?"

"I'm here to speak with Dasom-noona. There something I really want my friend, Jihoon, to hear." Soonyoung pointed at Jihoon when he mention him.

"Ok then. Come on now. She's in the nursery."

On the way there, Jihoon stayed quiet. He thought about who 'Dasom' was and how Soonyoung knew her as well as Mrs. Seungyeon.

They reached a white wooden door with pink and blue letters printed on the door spelling 'Nursery'. When the door fully opened, a girl in her mid twenties. She had brown, wavy, shoulder-length hair.

"Shh. The baby is sleeping. I'll be right out." Jihoon just realized the baby in her arms. The baby was wrapped in an ice-blue colored blanket. He then noticed the other babies sleeping. Some were bundled in different shades of pink or blue.

"Okay." Soonyoung said. "We'll wait for you in the dinning room."

After that Mrs. Seungyeon got us a drink and sat us in a dinning room. There were other kids in the house; either upstairs on the third floor or in the living room playing together. There were other workers and volunteers who worked here, too.

"So why did you want to talk with Dasom-ah?" The owner of the orphanage asked.

"Um... " Soonyoung looked at Jihoon, who just nodded for him to go on. "Well, I wanted to convince my friend here to not get an abortion. I know he's young, and I'm pretty sure you know why I want him to keep the baby."

When Soonyoung said the last part, Jihoon couldn't help but think about what the taller had meant. I wonder what happened in his past.

The old woman just nodded her head in deep thought. "Hmm. I also think it's not right to do an abortion. However, shouldn't it be his decision whether to keep it or not."

  "About that..."

"Hey! So what did you need?" Dasom, the girl from the nursery, came with a gentle smile on her face.

"Oh, hey noona. My friend was thinking about an abortion, and I want to stop him." Soonyoung replied.

"Ah, I see. So what's your name?" She turned to Jihoon, who was surprised since it was mostly Soonyoung who was doing the talking up until now.

"My name is Jihoon. Nice to meet you." He felt a little awkward, but a deal is a deal.

"Nice to meet you, Jihoon. I'm not surprised Soonyoung is trying to convince you into keeping the baby. Ever since the accident, Soonyoung was determined to stop anyone from getting a abortion." She stopped and looked at Soonyoung. At the same time, Mrs. Seungyeon got up from the table, excusing herself from the conversation.

Soonyoung's head was facing down, as if to show he didn't want to talk about it. Jihoon wondered what could've happened, but he felt like he shouldn't touch the subject.

"Anyway, he's managed to convince two strangers and a friend of mine to keep their children. He can be so convincing. He's asked me to share my story to one of the strangers."

"Really?" Jihoon was astonished after hearing this news. He's so... so... nice. He looked at Soonyoung, who just smiled sheepishly at him.

"Yeah, I guess I can be convincing." The older of the two rubbed the back of his neck and shyly looked away.

"So.. what is your story?" Jihoon asked curiously.

"Well, when I was about eighteen or so, I got pregnant by my boyfriend. Unfortunately, he left me and I hated the thought about raising a child alone. I was supposed to have an abortion, but things didn't go as planned. I had a miscarriage.

At the time, I didn't know what was going on. My parents weren't home and they didn't even know I was pregnant at that time.

When they went to go check at the hospital after finding out, I told them everything. At first, they didn't know how to take it in, but soon they comforted me. After that day, I felt empty and guilty. To me, that was a sign from God; that I should care for what I am blessed with, even if it is a child or not."

Jihoon took a second to try and figure out what to say. "So, um, why did you become a worker for the orphanage?" He asked slowly and cautiously.

"Because I couldn't have children. The doctors said I couldn't have children because my body wasn't strong enough to hold a baby for the months it needed to have. They said the longest the baby would last would be two months max."

"Wow, I'm sorry I asked," He said quietly.

"It's fine. I get asked that all the time. It's become a daily thing."

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but we got to go. We still have homework for English and Math," Soonyoung said.

"I almost forgot about that." Jihoon still wanted to know more about Dasom, but he had to wait another time.

"It's fine. It was nice meeting you, Jihoon. Hopefully, my story was able to touch the subject of keeping the baby," Dasom smiled at him cheerfully.

"Goodbye," Both Jihoon and Soonyoung said. They walked to the car, got in, turned it on, and left.

"Was I able to convince you at all?" Soonyoung asked.

"Yeah, a little." Jihoon said quietly.

  A sigh came from Soonyoung.

  Don't worry Soonyoung.

I'm sure you'll convince me little by little.

A/N: I'm so excited! Tomorrow, I'm going to my first concert (not including the Disney on ice thing I went to when I was younger)!
So I'm going to see Jessie & Joy. They are Mexican duo and I've literally listened to there music my whole life. My favorite song is 'Corre' and 'La de la mala suerte'.
Also, I do speak Spanish. Although I'm not that fluent in it, I was born into a Mexican family here in the U.S.
  Thank you for reading!❤️
