Chapter 27: Advice

Jihoon's POV

  I need help, but who should I ask? Jihoon pondered in who could help him with his small but important problem. Jisoo-hyung!

  The lunch bell rang, and Soonyoung and him headed towards the lunch room. While Soonyoung sat down, Jihoon was still standing up.

  "Um... Jisoo-hyung, can we talk? I need some help with something." Jihoon felt awkward since he never really asked Jisoo to help him. Much less ask anyone for help.

  "Sure." Jisoo said getting up and followed Jihoon to the empty hallway, where a lot of secrets were said. "What do you need help with?"

  "I..." Jihoon didn't know where to start. He felt embarrassed to ask advice about this. "I don't know what I feel towards Soonyoung."

  "And you want to know?"

  The younger slowly nodded his head. "I've never felt this way, so I don't know how to describe the feeling."

  "You feel like your stomach is doing flips when you see him."

  "Yeah." Jihoon said hesitantly.

  "Your face heats up when you catch yourself thinking about him."

  "Mhm." His responses became quieter.

  "And, when he accidentally touches you, you want to feel his warmth even more."

  He nodded his head up and down, waiting for the older to tell him what the feeling is called. Jisoo laughed making the younger look at him confused.

  "Those things are so cliché. You really don't know what that is. Have you ever read or has someone ever told you the same thing? And it's always the same feeling. Jihoon, you like Soonyoung. Don't you?"

  Jihoon stood there and nodded his head again.

  "You only asked me this because you weren't sure, and you also hated to admit it, but you shouldn't try to hide it. Don't be embarrassed by it either. Your not the only one who wanted to hide the fact that they like someone."

  Jihoon finally spoke up. "Who else would want to hide away their feelings?"

  "That would be me."

  The smaller gave him a questioning look.

  "I haven't told anyone yet, but I know you wouldn't tell anyone if I told you who it is. The person I like is Seokmin."

  When the older said Seokmin's name he wasn't too shocked. "That kinda makes sense. You two have been hanging out since the beginning of my pregnancy."

  "Yeah, Seokmin was the one who first approached me, telling me how he was bored and asked me if I wanted to hang out. Ever since that day, we've been getting closer."

  "Thank you." Jihoon suddenly said.

  "For what?"

  "For the advice. Thank you for telling me I shouldn't be embarrassed about it, and that I should accept it." Jihoon did a small bow to show his gratitude, even though that's not all he wanted to hear.

  "No need to bow, but can you answer me a question?"

  "What is it?"

  "Why didn't you accept the fact that you liked Soonyoung?"

  Jihoon didn't know what to say. He knew why, but telling someone he was afraid of what could happen in the future.

  "Is it because your afraid?"

  The younger widened his eyes in shock. How was he able to guess so well?!

  "Jihoon, you seem scared of the future. Anyone would be afraid of how their relationship with their baby's father is going to end up if something happens between the two. Especially if you were to end up dating and then break up."

  Jihoon let out a sigh of relief. He was glad that he didn't have to say it out loud. He was also glad that Jisoo noticed his fear.

  "You can be afraid of the future. I mean what's the point of living if you don't feel anything towards the future. Most of the time we anticipate or hope for the future to show us what happens. Even fear is something we feel for the future.

  Don't worry about it too much about the future. Also, if you have liked Soonyoung for a while, I wouldn't wait too long. He asked you out didn't he? Tell him your feelings before it's too late."

  Jihoon nodded his head once more. "You're right, but I'll tell him when I'm ready. I promise I won't be too late."

"You better not because, if you don't, you'll end up heartbroken."

  A/N: Hey guys! Currently watching SAO. I freaking love that show! I'm about to finish it. I only need two more episodes.
  I don't know if I should go to school tomorrow. Hell, I don't even know what to do for my birthday! I don't feel like doing anything tomorrow. I don't know the excitement for my birthday lessens after a while.
