Chapter 29: The baby is coming!

Jihoon's POV

  Ugh, my stomach is hurting so bad. Jihoon was biting his lip through the pain. He had been getting contractions more often. He and the others knew that the time was almost coming, where the delivery of the baby would be arriving soon.

  Even though there was little time left, he still wanted to go to school. He would miss about a month of school, and he didn't want to miss a lot of material.

  As the bell rang and people were leaving, Jihoon tried standing up through the pain. "Argh!" Jihoon exclaimed.

  "Are you all right, Jihoon?" Soonyoung came up to him with a worried face.

  "Does it look like I'm okay?!" Jihoon yelled at the older male. "Help me!"

  "Okay, okay, no need to be so pushy." Soonyoung mumbled.

  "What's the hold up?" Mingyu came up to them with Wonwoo by his side.

  "Jihoon's having troubles with the contractions." The young father replied. Then, he turned towards Jihoon and said in a worried tone. "I told you that you should've stayed home. The contractions are becoming too painful for you."

  "I am fine!" Jihoon snapped. "Nothing bad is going to-," The smaller was about to finish his sentence, but the growing feeling of water spilling onto his pants cut him off.

  "Jihoon, is something wrong?!" A frantic Soonyoung asked.

  "I think my water broke!" Jihoon said, looking at Soonyoung with a nervousness printed on his face.

  "We have to get him to the hospital!" Wonwoo exclaimed. "Now!"

  Soonyoung was helping Jihoon; Jihoon was trying his best to suck in the pain and was walking as fast as he could. The students were looking at the couple walk towards the entrance to the school building.

  "You two tell the teacher that Jihoon and I had to go to the hospital because Jihoon's water okay?!"

  "Got it!" Both of the other two boys yelled running to the principles office.

  Once they got to the car, Soonyoung raced towards the hospital, skipping a few red lights along the way.

  When they got inside, the nurses put Jihoon in a wheel chair to make things easier. They went up to the second floor, towards the delivery room.

  "Alright, Lee Jihoon?" The doctor asked calmly.

  "Yes!" Jihoon yelled threw clenched teeth and the pain.

  "Okay, how far apart are the contractions?"

  "Maybe less than five minutes?" Soonyoung said.

  "Ok, Mr. Lee, you are going to push you get your next contraction ok?"

  "Uh-huh!" Jihoon then felt another contraction coming in.

  "Push!"

  Jihoon pushed as hard as he could; It was very painful. He was a having a natural birth, which meant he had to give birth through his hole.

  "Again, push!"

  Each time Jihoon had to push, he got more and more tired. "Soonyoung, I don't think I can handle this anymore."

  "You can do it, Jihoonie." Soonyoung urged, while the older kisses the younger's sweaty forehead. "Come on. It's only a few more pushes, okay?"

  "Okay."

  After another thirty minutes or so, and baby's cry was heard. The doctor handed over the couple's baby to Jihoon, after he cut the umbilical cord.

  "Do you have a name for her?" The doctor asked.

  "Not yet, but we'll decide on one soon." Soonyoung answered.

  "Okay, then, I am going to tell your parents that the child has been born. After that, the nurse can check your baby and take her weight, length, and other important stuff."

  "Okay, thank you." Jihoon said.

  The doctor nodded his head, walked out the room, and left the two alone. They didn't speak for a while. They only looked at their child, who was in the tired boy's arms.

  "She's beautiful." Soonyoung whispered.

  "Hopefully, she has your bright smile." Jihoon said.

  "I don't have to hope because she has your features." Soonyoung smiled happily at Jihoon, who stared back with a soft blush on the younger's cheeks.

  "Do you have any ideas for her name?" Jihoon broke there staring contest by looking back at their daughter.

  "Not a clue. I was so excited about the baby, I never thought about names."

  "We'll leave this decisions a later time, okay?"

  "Okay."

Soonyoung leaned in a gave Jihoon a peck on the lips, right before the younger's parents came in.
