Anyone
I had just finished fixing my hair when Drake called.
I quickly picked up.
"Out in a sec." I said into the phone.
"Alright." Then the call ended.
I grabbed my jacket and wallet then made my way upstairs.
"Well someone is dressed extra nice tonight." Said my aunt.
"Are you seeing anyone bud?" Asked uncle Phil.
I chuckled at the both of them. "No uncle Phil, I'm not seeing anyone special, and Aunt Katy, these are just new clothes."
I grabbed my keys and headed towards the front door.
"Call me if you guys need anything, and I mean it." I said as adjusted my jacket reaching for the doorknob.
"Go!" My uncle enthused. "Have fun." He said with a thumbs up.
"Alright, Aunt Katy call me if you need anything. I love you both." I said as I closed the door.
I quickly spotted Drake car. His famous black '12 Accord.
He honked and opened the door.
"Hurry up, I heard some crazy chicks are there already." He said with excitement.
I laughed.
"Where are we going?" I asked as he pulled off.
"Mark knows these two girls who are here for a few days and are throwing a party down in TriBeCa ."
"Well let's go party!" I screamed.
•••
We parked across the street from an apartment building.
"So have you met them?" I asked curiously.
"No, I'm just here for the party man." He laughed as we crossed the street.
We reached the building and took the elevator to the top floor.
"The top floor?" I ask.
"I know right." Drake chuckled.
These girls must have money. I thought to myself.
The elevator doors opened and we walked up to the apartments door. Drake doesn't even knock because there wouldn't be any point to it. We could hear the loud music reaching the floor.
"I'm going to go find Mark, I'll be back!" He yells through the music.
I nod and start to walk around.
It was a big place, full of what looked like to be people in their late teens and early twenties.
"Whoa watch out!" I yelled and took a step back.
A girl almost dropped a red cup full of what I assume is beer all over me.
"I'm so sorry." A blonde girl slurs out laughing and walks away.
What is wrong with people. I check my phone and it was 9:15pm.
How can anyone be so drunk this early.
I decide to find the bar and get a drink to loosen up. That's what I came here for in the first place.
Everything was white and modern, including the furniture and walls. I have no idea why, but it looked good with all the different flashing lights.
When I found the bar I asked the guy for some beer. When I pulled out my wallet he denied it.
"It's on the house." He smiled.
