Piper stood dumbfounded. Jason just knocked out Percy with the butt of his sword.

Will was the first to react, "What on Earth did you just do?! Do you know what kind of head trauma that sort of blunt force could cause?!"

Jason pursed his lips, "Good thing you're coming with us, you can give him a thorough check-up once we're on the road."

Piper generally hated seeing her boyfriend tense, but right now he looked downright ashamed of himself. Though, overall he did save everyone from dragging a conscious  angry Poseidon demigod along.

"Come on, let's go before he wakes up. Cause he won't be happy," Jason said, patting Percy on the back, who was currently draped over his shoulder.

Percy slightly groaned, throwing everyone into action.

"Hazel, go get supplies from the kitchen and try and find Nico while you're at it. Jason get one of the Camp vehicles to drive us to the city limits. Everyone else, pack your weapons and some clothes for the road."

The group nodded before all running in their separate directions.

"Leo, get spare clothes for Jason, too, anything you guys might need, we're leaving in 15 minutes, people!"

Leo frowned, "What about Jackson?"

"I'll go grab some stuff from his cabin. Tell everyone to meet Jason with the van on the Camp's entrance," she told Leo as she started running to her cabin. Reyna jogging to catch up to her.

"I'll stay."

"What?" Piper was thinking too fast to understand.

"Someone has to stay back for Jackson to go," she practically snarled his name, "and you five should definitely go."

Piper only nodded, not thinking to thank her or reason with her, she didn't have much time.

Piper scrambled to her bunk grabbing a bag and shoving extra clothes in it, she quickly changed into her combat boots, double checking her knife sheathed to her side and strapping the bag to her back she sprinted to Cabin 3.

She opened the door hesitantly, peering inside before taking a step in. There was a crunch underneath her foot, she looked down. Glass covered the floor, a broken picture frame lay in the middle of the room facing down.

Piper stooped down, and out of curiosity, she picked up the broken picture brushing glass off she was met with tears.

The picture was of Percy and Annabeth, they looked so happy. Percy had his arm around Annabeth as she had her nose in a book, and he just stared at her as if she was the most beautiful thing in the world.

Before Piper could change her mind she folded up the picture and stuck it in her bag. Quickly she rummaged through Percy's drawers pulling out a couple of pairs of clothes, uncertain of what to throw in her bag.

Before she left she turned around to survey the room to see if she left anything, she immediately wished she hadn't.

Laying barely see able underneath his bed was a box, knowing she shouldn't be snooping she tried to turn around and walk away but looking at her watch she saw she had ten or so more minutes and leaped to the bed, pulling the box out from underneath.

Piper figured the more she understood Percy the better chance she'd have of opening his mental gate. In the box there were strange things, first she pulled out a pink scarf, it had the most wonderful smell, was it Annabeth's?

Next was a picture, well two separate pictures paper clipped together. Piper didn't think they were anything of significance until she realized something odd, in the first picture of Percy he looked maybe 13-14, but he had a gray strand of hair mixed with his usual dark mess of hair.

And the other was Annabeth smiling in a school photo with a matching gray strand tucked behind her ear.

Also, there laid a rock, a black rock, what the? Huh, she put it aside.

There was a big bulky thing wrapped in cloth she took out next.

Checking her time, seven minutes. She unwrapped it, finding an old blade. It had obviously been scrubbed clean, looking at it she wished she could understand it's importance, why would Percy keep these things?

Quickly she pulled out her knife, concentrating she looked into it wishing to see the past. The blade immediately responded, showing her flashes. The first one was of Percy and Annabeth at maybe 12:

"Are you kidding?" Annabeth looked at Percy as if he'd just dropped from the moon. Her cheeks were bright red.
"What's the problem now?" He demanded.
"Me, go with you to the...the 'Thrill Ride of Love'? how embarrassing is that? What if somebody saw me?"
"Who's going to see you?" But his face was burning now, too. Leave it to a girl to make everything complicated. "Fine," He told her. "I'll do it myself." But when Percy started down the side of the pool, she followed him, muttering about how boys always messed things up.

In the Thrill Ride of Love was a boat shaped like a swan and in the boat was a familiar sparkly pink scarf.

The second flash was dark and it was too loud to hear what was being said but in the dark, she saw a struggling girl holding up the sky and Percy rushed to help her take it from her. This made Piper smile, Percy had taken the weight of the sky for her.

Next Annabeth and Percy were in a battle with other demigods, first Piper thought it was a battle between Greek and Romans but they were on a bridge of some sort. They fought back to back, for a while Piper didn't understand why the blade showed her this moment, at least until she saw something familiar, the blade in the box. A demigod ran towards Percy's back, about to plunge the dagger into a weak spot when Annabeth threw herself in the way. She took a knife for him. And he had kept it.

The last flash made her gasp, this one she remembered, Annabeth and Percy were on the edge of falling into Tartarus, Percy holding Annabeth and himself with one hand. Piper saw the ground Percy was holding onto was the same as the rock in the box. Then they fell, Percy let himself fall into Tartarus holding Annabeth in his arms.

Piper smiled.
