Percy was currently being dragged to the Big House.
Man, you throw one girl into a lake and everyone freaks out, he thought.
Both Piper and Jason had looked at him with bug eyes.
"What?!" he'd shrugged, laughing. Then they'd looked at each other as if mentally agreeing on something before grabbing him by both arms and lugging him off to Chiron.
Once they finally reached the cabin, Chiron was out standing on the porch, he must have seen them coming.
"Ah, Percy," Chiron nodded, "I assure you, here is a safe place to cry. No one will judge you, my boy," he said in a soft tone as if talking to a small child.
Percy raised his brow, fighting back a laugh, seeing as how the old centaur seemed serious.
"Ha, um, what are you talking about?"
The camp director simply frowned at Percy, looking to Jason and Piper for an explanation.
A mischievous smile came to Percy's face as he saw the glass of water Chiron held. Carefully Percy put his hand behind his back to hide his intentions.
Silently Percy flicked his wrist upward as they started some serious conversation with Chiron that Percy had no intention of listening to.
The water, responding to Percy's hand motion, erupting from Chiron's cup and completely drenching the centaur.
Everyone froze, stopping mid-conversation.
Percy doubled over laughing, "Ah-hahaha!"
As everyone slowly turned their neck to him, staring at Percy as if he was an alien.
Chiron was starting to understand what they were saying: Percy was acting... unexpectedly.
"I think you should come inside," he said slowly to Jason and Piper without taking his eyes off Percy.
They both nodded, following Chiron inside, all of them watching Percy as they walked.
Percy sighed, reining in his laughter and trudging into the cabin.
In the cabin, Chiron motioned for them to sit as he went back further in the cabin to get a towel.
Jason and Piper sat together on the loveseat, as Percy plopped down on the couch on the opposite side of the room.
Mr. D stood by the wall throwing sausages up to a jaguar head mounted above him.
He sneered, "Well if it isn't Peter Johnson and his friends. Come to hatch another elaborate plan to go on a quest? Who's threatening the world today?"
"Not today Big D, this time I'm the one who got drug up here. Ask Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum," Percy said, pointing to Piper and Jason.
Dionysus raised his brow, staring curiously at Percy obviously noticing the difference, as Percy plopped his feet up on the coffee table.
"Really?" he said, looking at Piper and Jason, then to the soaking Chiron who had just re-entered the room with a towel around his neck.
"Yes, it seems Percy is having some coping issues. Jason and Piper were just explaining something to me outside before we were... interrupted." Chiron said, uneasily.
Watching Percy, now untrusting as he cleared the room of water glasses. Including one from Mr. D's hand, "Trust me, you don't want that anymore," he whispered.
Percy snickered mischievously, "He's right," he said, before making the water in his glass do a little somersault in the air.
Chiron returned after carefully dumping out all the water in the room, "Now let's get to business."
"Right, well as I was saying earlier Percy isn't himself and it's partially my fault," Piper said, nervously fidgeting with her hands.
"Oh, do explain Polly." Mr. D said sarcastically. "I hadn't noticed," he said, shoving Percy's feet off the table.
"It's Piper," Piper said innocently, obviously not realizing yet that Dionysus purposely calls everyone by the wrong name.
"Not anymore, you've got that name for life. I should know," Percy said pointing at himself, "Peter Johnson. Nice to meet you, Polly."
Piper looked at him uncertainly, "Umm, okay. Anyway--"
She was interrupted by Clarisse bursting in through the door, "Chiron! There's a fight in the forest!" she said, gasping for air.
"What?!" Chiron's eyes widened.
"Yeah! Nico and Will are out for each other's blood in the middle of the woods!" Clarisse didn't sound so much as concerned but more excited for a fight.
Everyone rushed out of the cabin to the forest, leaving a lazy Mr. D with his Jaguar.
