Truth

We were silent the whole car ride. 

I was so uncomfortable but happy at the same time. 

I can finally get away from that little-

"Soooo," Karoline said breaking my thoughts.

"You wanna play a game?" 

I nodded but then raised my eyebrow. 

"What game?" 

"Hmm.. maybe a game of Truth or Dare?.." 

I nodded. 

I loved playing Truth Or Dare. 

"Okay." Karoline smiled while taking her phone out. 

As I watched her get into the app I looked down at my ice cold hands. 

I rubbed them together as I then felt something soft hit my lap. 

I looked back down and saw a baby blue blanket lay on me. I turned to Karoline who was smiling at me softly. 

"Figured you were cold." She said as she then looked at my hands. 

"Thanks," I mumbled as I pulled the blanket closer, giving me warmth. 

"Okay now, Truth or Dare?" She asked me. 

"Is that on an app?" 

"Yes." 

"Okay. Umm Dare?" 

"Give someone your phone and let them send one text to anyone in your contacts," Karoline stated and I frowned. 

"But I don't have a phone." 

Karoline frowned as well as she raised her eyebrows. 

"Really?" 

I nodded looking away. 

"Well wanna use mi-" 

"Here use mine." Mrs. Martinez said handing us her phone. 

I was surprised as Karoline slowly took it. 

"Seriously mom?" Karoline asked. 

"Yeah." 

Karoline and I glanced surprisingly at each other before she opened up her mom's messages. 

"Okay, who to text first?" Karoline thought out loud while tapping her chin. 

She then looked at me with a smirk before clicking on "Husband". 

"Karoline?" Mrs. Martinez said. 

"Yes?" Karoline asked innocently throughout giggles. 

"What are you texting," I whispered. 

Karoline brought the phone to my face. 

I then gasped noticing what she texted. 

Husband

I want a divorce. 

I'm sorry but I can't do this anymore. 

Were over. 

...

"Karoline no! Don't send that-" 

"Send." 

I gaped at how stupid she was being but then burst out laughing as she was cracking up gasping for breath. 

"Karoline you better give me that phone!" Her mom chided.
