"You're not drinking again, Gabbana." Zander's voice buzzed in my ears as he followed me through the stairs. "I'm gonna talk to mom about this."
Zander had been standing out front when Oxygen dropped me off. He'd been showing off his annoyed frown from his forehead down to his lips. He didn't even invite Oxygen to come inside his house to show a little gratitude after the monkey man saved his sister's ass, though he'd given him a small thank you when Oxygen rolled down the window of his car. And from then, he started ranting on me about my misbehavior. I'm at fault, so I gotta keep my mouth tightly shut.
"You're so irresponsible, Gabby. What if something bad happened to you? You gonna render me in jail, huh?"
"Zander," I took a sharp breath and turned to him when I reached the final step. "Look, you don't have to worry your ass out. I'm fine and I can handle myself-"
"You sure can," he mocked. "You really can, Gabbana. That's how you do it, huh? Getting drunk? Sleeping into someone's bed, because you're wasted and can't carry your ass to move back here. That's how you handle yourself. Well shit, Gabby. If you don't hear my orders then I'm gonna talk to mom, maybe she can fly here and take you with her. How's that sound?"
Horrible. Leave it to Zander Dior, he can ruin everything for me like magic. "Zander! Hindi na ko bata! Kaya ko na ang sarili ko. Dammit! I'm of age, I don't need to stay under mom's skirt. Why can't you just give me my life? I'm old enough!"
"You're old enough to sit on his hips and that's exactly what's bothering me, Gabbana Victoria." His voice is low and gravely. "Sabihin na natin na may tiwala ako sayo, pero kay Oxygen, wala. I can't trust my little sister to him. Oxygen De Salvo lived a reputation of a man whore. He's a male slut! And having him answer your phone after millions of ringing goes beyond my head, Gabby. I'm your brother. I'm a man. You know me, I don't judge people, but if you and Chanel are the ones involve, things will change."
Alright. Zander is just being a big brother that he is. Isang malalim na hininga pa ang muli kong pinakawalan. Sinalubong ko ang mga mata ni Zander. Zander is Zayn Andrei in every inch. From physical appearance down to his behavior.
"Zander, Oxygen didn't do anything wrong. He didn't touch me. He didn't take advantage, knowing that I'm drunk and I'm lost, he could easily get on my pants but he didn't." Hindi ko alam kung bakit ko sinasabi ang mga bagay na iyon, the last thing I wanna do is say good things about that De Salvo, that's why I don't know why I'm saying these things. "Surprising, but I'm telling the truth, Zander. Oxygen had been a complete gentleman the whole night of my stay."
Matiim akong pinakatitigan ni Zander, tila ba tinatantya niya kung gaano katotoo ang sinasabi ko. Well, I'm not lying. Oxygen is rude and cruel, he's very vulgar and has a badmouth. But it's true that he didn't harm me in anyway.
"I still don't want you keeping your ass around him, Gabbana. He's not the type of guy you can be friends with. You can't handle him and have your hand around his neck, so you better keep your nose out of trouble. Oxygen is trouble." That's all and he's done, tinalikuran na niya ako atsaka bumalik sa ibaba.
I know what Zander means and I'm not in to befriending Oxygen De Salvo. I don't like him. The guy is obnoxious. He's annoying and he's so full of himself.
I spent the rest of the afternoon inside my room. Thinking about Ethan again. Both of my drunk and sober thoughts are all about Ethan. I wanna see him. I wanna spend time with him. I can't remember when was the last time I mingled with him and I miss him a lot.
Thinking about how he ignored me last night pains me again. And then, there's Oxygen De Salvo. I don't want him interrupting my thoughts about Ethan but I can't help it. He has saved me.
