chapter 25

Hailey **

Zach gently prodded me the next morning and I looked up at him yawning. "Yeah babe?"

"You want to go to the zoo?" he asked me. I immediately brightened up.

"Yeah!" I said and jumped out of bed. "Hold up, let me get changed and wake up Easton."

"Okay, I'll be in the bathroom doing my hair if you need me." He said pecking me on my lips before walking away.

I quickly changed into a black crop top, white jeans, and checkered slip on vans.

I jumped next to Easton who was still sleeping and said "Wakey wakey we're going to the zoo!"

He cracked open his eyes a little bit and mumbled something. 

"Hm?" I asked.

"Why are you awake so early?" He yawned sitting up in his bed.

"Because Zach told me we're going to the zoo!" I said excitedly. "HA MRS. BRIDGES! YOU NEVER THOUGHT THAT I CAN SEE A PENGUIN IN REAL LIFE! FUCK YOU BITCH!"

"You are so like me." Easton chuckled. "I'll get changed now. Wait, hold up. What's your number in case I need to contact you?"

"Oh, yeah." I said giving him my number.

"Thanks." He said hugging me. I gratefully hugged him back.

"Sorry, just the perks of being a twin." We both said at the same time laughing. "Jinx!"

"I wish that we'd been with each other for our whole lives." He said sadly.

"Yeah, but now we're with each other, so that makes everything fine." I said.

Zach finally walked out of the bathroom and said "You guys ready?"

"Yeah." We both said at the same time.

"Woah, so twin telepathy is actually a thing?" he asked astonished.

"Nah." We both said and then laughed.

"You two are sibling goals." He grinned at us. "Come on now, before all of the French toast is taken." he said. We both got up and walked down the hall. I held hands with Zach and I don't know how much I missed it when we broke up.

"Zachy give me a piggy back ride!" I giggled and jumped on his back.

"Anything for my queen." He laughed as he stepped in the elevator.

When we got to the lobby everyone greeted us with warm smiles. Easton and Keely were talking and Logan was starting his vlog.

"Are you pregnant?" Jack asked me.

"Pfft no you jackass." I laughed gently slapping him in the face. I looked around to see if anyone saw but then someone caught my eye. No, it was two people. No, it was three. It was Liam, Miles, and Connor.

They started heading towards me and I said, "Sorry, I have to go to the bathroom." I sped off to the bathrooms until a strong hand held my wrist tightly. "Sir, I think you have the wrong person."

"No, I don't Hailey." Liam said. I tried pulling away but his grip got stronger.

"Uhm, can you let me go I really got to take a piss right now." I lied.

"No you don't Hailey." He said getting closer to me. I could now feel him breathing down on my neck. I backed away but he just kept getting closer. I was now stuck in the corner and his lips were just about to touch mine. Until someone pulled him away from me.

"GET AWAY FROM MY GIRLFRIEND YOU ASSHOLE!" Zach screamed. Logan, Easton, and Keely ran over to me. Zach slapped him in the face so hard that there was a deep red mark on Liam's face.

"Liam, do you ever learn?" Logan asked him punching him in the jaw.

"Keely, who is this?" Easton asked puzzled.

"This is her ex." She said coldly.

Zach was about to take another swing at Liam before I said "Zach, he's not worth it."

"But he almost kissed you." He said angrily.

"But he didn't. Because you stopped him." I said, then kissing him passionately.

"Go get a room!" Keely and Logan said in disgust. "Right Easton-Easton?"

"Fuck, where is he? And when did Liam leave?" I muttered underneath my breath.

Me and Zach looked at each other in the same time and said "Oh no."

We immediately ran outside and saw Easton and Liam fighting. "Don't fuck with my twin sister." Easton growled punching him in the cheek.

Liam took advantage of Easton when he wasn't looking and tackled him to the ground, scratching at his face. He took a hard punch at Eastons jaw. I screamed in terror as Easton was beginning to give up. Luckily the boys were looking for us and saw Easton getting beat up. I looked towards where Zach was standing, but he rushed to help Easton. Logan was getting this on camera. The other boys were helping Zach to try to get Liam off but he wouldn't budge. I started sobbing and Christina and aspen hugged me for support. Keely made sure no one was looking and made Logan turn his camera around to punch Liam squarely in her face. Jonah just yelled "THATS MY GIRL!" and I managed a weak smile. I looked at Aspen and she was on the phone talking to someone urgently. A few minutes later a few police cars pulled up and the policemen helped the boys pull Liam off. They handcuffed Liam and drive away with him and that's when I ran up to Easton crying.

"Are you alright?" I asked him in tears. I placed my forehead on his and he squeezed my hands. "You shouldn't have done that."

"But you're my sister." He mumbled. "Can you help me get back to the room?"

"Yes, of course." I said. Everyone helped carry him back to the room and we ordered room service. Me and Logan made Easton get in the tub and we poured in warm water for him. He got in and we cleaned most of his scratches. "Jonah, can you get a bucket of ice please? Jack, can you get a towel? Daniel, we need more soap, ask the lady in the front for some more, or just buy some. Aspen can you bring his food here?" I asked them. They nodded and did what they were told without hesitation.

"That bitch better stay in jail for life." Keely muttered underneath her breath.

I touched his jaw and he winced in pain. "Don't worry, it's not shattered." I said. Jonah came back with the ice and I out some on his bruises.

"Hey, man, you all right?" Zach asked crouching next to him.

"Yeah." He said wincing in pain as I dabbed another scratch.

"This is all my fault." I said tearing up again.

"No it's not." He said. 

"Yes, it is. He only wanted me..."

"Hailey, stop it." Zach said hugging me.

"Hailey, I'm going to be fine." he said weakly. "Can I have some French toast?" 

I laughed and fed him a few pieces before draining out the tub and filling it back up with more water.

We didn't go to the zoo that day, and instead we just stayed inside of my hotel room watching tv and talking. 

I did two chapters cuz i was hella bored. okay bye im out!
