Hailey  **

I was supposed to meet Amber in the lobby by now but she said that she was running a little late. I took a seat on one of the couches and watched people come and check in to their rooms. I then saw familiar curls, a blonde coconut head, a sharp jawline, a tooth gap, a mischievous grin, a set of rosy cheeks, and an unforgettable face. What the fuck was Easton doing here? I knew that Logan and the boys would be here because Zach said so.

I buried my face in my phone so they wouldn't have a good glance of me.

Amber ran in the lobby and spotted me. She quickly walked over and sat down next to me. "You know my boyfriend, best friends, brother, and twin I told you about?" I whispered.

"Yeah, I think I saw them when I walked in. But Jack looks so much cuter in real life." She whispered back blushing.

Once the boys went to their rooms we left to go to her apartment. "Hailey I'm thinking about adopting a puppy." She said pausing Riverdale.

"Really?" I asked excitedly.

"Yeah, I was thinking about going to the animal shelter today. Do you want to come?" she asked me.

"I'd love to!" I said.

When we got to the animal shelter I saw ambers ex. He came up to us and Amber looked kind of scared. "Which puppy should I get Teresa?" He grinned at us. "And Amber, you have a sixteen year old as a friend? How pathetic." He teased her.

"Oh my fucking God. You can leave now." I said rolling my eyes.

He glared at me. "Yeah Chris." Amber agreed speaking softly.

"Are you scared of me?" He teased her getting closer to her. I pulled him away and slapped him hard on his face. I saw him wince in pain. He then turned to me. "You're bitchy, aren't you?" He smiled at me. "I like my girls bitchy."

"Oh haha." I said sarcastically. "Yeah sure. I'm bitchy and taken."

"Who cares? I never said I like you." he rolled his eyes.

"Just go." Amber said shoving him aside and walked past him. I followed her and looked back at him, sticking up my favorite finger to him.

"Look at this puppy! He's so cute." Amber gushed pointing to an energetic golden retriever puppy.

"Aw, he's cute." I said. My eyes weren't focused on at puppy though. I was focused on another puppy. It was an Australian Shepard and it looked like he went through a lot, I could see it in his eyes. "But maybe you should get this one."

"It looks like he's been through a lot of pain." She said sadly. "I'll get him."

We left the shelter and drove back to her apartment. He was enjoying the rush of the wind on the freeway. I was stroking his head and he seemed to enjoy it.

When we got to her apartment we started calling him names to see what he would respond to. "Bailey! Come here boy!" Amber said. He barely moved a muscle.

"Pepper!" I said. he didn't respond.

"Dash!" Amber called. He quickly perked up and ran over. "I see you like that name." Amber said while he was giving her licks on her face. "I'll call you dash, okay boy?"

We took dash on his first walk to the dog park. He was a little shy at first but quickly became friends with a Dalmatian.

The Dalmatians owner came up to us and introduced himself. "Hi, I'm Thomas Woods, professional dog trainer. I train dogs for competitions, and I see that your puppy may have a lot of potential. Kessie over here has won over five nationals so far."

"That's cool." Amber said. "But we just got Dash and wouldn't want him training until he's older, maybe."

"Okay, but if you change your mind, contact me." He said writing his number on a piece of paper. "Your puppy has a lot of potential."

When we left the dog park, Dash was happily trotting in front of us and we went to Starbucks. I ordered at mocha frappe and Amber ordered a dragon frappe.

We just walked out when the boys walked in, extremely tired.

"Quick let's get back to the hotel." I said grabbing ambers hand and walked across the street. I swear I heard Zach call out "Hailey!" but I just ignored him.

sorry that this chapter was crappy.
