today me Daniel and Zach were gonna hang out. i don't know what got into Daniel though. he's my best friend and he shouldn't be sad.
i put on some shoes pants and a shirt. not really going into detail because no one really cares except for Kevin and James.
"Hailey where are you going?" Easton asked when i walked downstairs.
"me Zach and Daniel are going out today."
"but i thought we were gonna play fortnite."
"sorry bud but i gotta do this."
"whatever. i'll just visit Logan. i'll also bring hunter. isn't that right boy?" he cooed picking up hunter.
"ok, bye east! bye hunter." i said lovingly kissing them both on the cheek. hunter whimpered and i pet and scratched him one last time.

when i walked into their house i saw valia and Jack making out on the couch and quietly tip toed upstairs with a watermelon.
Zach wasn't in his room so i checked Daniels but he wasn't there either. i didn't bother with Jonahs because i heard the sound of a squeaky mattress. ok, think good thoughts. Jonahs just jumping on his bed...onto...into...fuck this shit i'm out.
i went in Corbyns room and to my surprise i saw Daniel and Zach going through his closet. "guys what are you doing?" i asked. they both jumped back in alarm but then relaxed.
"uhhhh we needed a few hot dogs?"
"we needed to find why don't we our favorite band?"
"yeah, nice try. what are you really looking for?"
"fine...we're looking for Daniels watermelon that Corbyn stole...and possibly his dog costumes for hunter."
"what are you three doing in here? are those my dog costumes?!" Corbyn said angrily walking from behind us.
"run." Zach breathed and we all gladly did so not wanting to get our fourth toe cut off.
"i expect them back by midnight!" Corbyn called after us. i tossed the watermelon back to Daniel who knocked into Zach who fell into Daniel that fell into me. we all fell gracefully down the stairs right in front of Jack and valia who were just staring at us and laughing. even keely came out just having a blanket wrapped around her and jonah with another blanket around his waist. "is the watermelon fine?" daniel breathed not daring to look at the horror of the watermelon in front of us. i nodded my head and we all sighed in relief until Corbyn 'slipped' down the stairs to also have some fun. we heard some crunching noise and all of us cringed. "CORBYN." Zach yelled furiously. but to our natural instinct, we all dived to the floor grabbing the parts that didn't touch the floor. even keely and Jonah put some clothes on.

i can't get her out of my mind...she did this to me. you know what? fuck her. i'm gonna have some fun with my two bestest friends. hailey was driving to the movie theatre so we could watch uncle drew. i sat right in between them and we all shared a jumbo bucket of popcorn. it was absolutely hilarious and kept my mind off of the other things that were bothering me. i heard a familiar laugh. no. but it was her. "i'm sorry guys, but i've gotta go." i said putting the popcorn in zachs lap. i then ran into the bathroom overwhelmed.
a few minutes later Zach and Hailey came rushing in. the other men quickly zipped their flies and washed their hands then left.
"Dani what's wrong?" she asked worriedly.
"it's a girl...that i've been dating for a month before i dumped her. i heard her talking on the phone once and said that she didn't love me, she only dated me so she could get close to Jonah and fuck with him. i never told you guys about her because...well i don't know. i didn't really have a good feeling about her either. Anna set me up with her. and it doesn't bother me that we're over. it bothers me that she will go through all measures to get what she wants. and it's been really stressing me out lately." i spilled the tea.
"damn." Zach muttered. "that girl deserves to rot in hell. Daniel, so you're stressed about her ruining Jonah and Keelys relationship, right?" i nodded my head. "same with being casted out and the only single guy?"
"well, i kinda made a solution for myself for the last part. i like being single, and i like to see my best friends happy. it wouldn't be too bad if i'm just a fun uncle." i shrugged. to be honest, the was entirely true. i give up on loving people in a way they'd never love me back.
"maybe the fun godfather." Zach winked at me. i smiled weakly. but then i felt like breaking down again. i took ten deep breaths then put on my fakest smile.
"come on, let's go." i said smiling fakely. fun, just have fun, and forget.
we went to the Santa Monica pier and watched the ocean in silence.
soon we got bored and went shopping. i'm gonna do a little haul if you don't mind. me Zach and Hailey got matching shirts that said 'trio in crime' and got a bunch of shoes and jeans.
i felt a bit happy, but deep down there was a lot of anxiety.
