Back in LA

Hailey**

We all decided that we would go to Keelys apartment and surprise her. Jonah got her a few things on the way. Halfway there, Logan bailed on us and said that he ha fto go to a meeting.

When we got in her apartment it was really quiet. We looked everywhere for her, but we couldn't find her.

"Uh, guys." Zach said worriedly peering inside her fridge.

"Zach, it would be a bit more polite if you asked her if you could have food." I said.

"No, it's not that. There's a note in there." Zach said. We all rushed to the refrigerator. "You guys can have your dear friend back, until you give me what I want. You have 2 week before I kill her. Each day, she will get a cut, a brand  new one. Your time starts now." He read aloud.

"What does this person want?" Jonah asked worriedly. "I'll give them what they want."

"It's probably money. Everyone wants money." Jack said shrugging.

"SURPRISE!" Someone yelled.

I shrieked and jumped around. "What the fuck!" I yelled. "Cameron?" (Lmao you thought!)

"Yeah, I followed you guys here. Oh, Hailey. Doesn't that handwriting look familiar?" He asked pointing to the note.

"Eh, not really." I said.

"It kind of looks like Ben Harris's writing. Remember him? That weird kid who likes you back in middle school." Cameron said scratching his head. I remember him. He was twi years see than me, and right now he might even be three.

"Oh, I think I might've been neighbors with him." Zach piped up. "When we were in preschool. He's that tall Spanish guy right?"

"Yeah, that's him." Cameron said.

"But what does he want?" Easton asked us still puzzled.

"I don't know. But remember in 6th grade when he said that he's always wanted to have a pack of sour gummy worms?" I asked Cameron and he laughed.

"I'm surprised he's never had a pack before. But he always said that he wanted to date a model." Cameron said.

"Okay, that just triggered a memory!" Daniel said. We all turned and looked at him. "Remember when we were one tour once, and Aspen came to one of our shows?"

There were a series of yes's going around in the room.

"He was the guy stalking Aspen. He said that his name was also Ben Harris." Daniel explained.

"So one part is easy. A pack of sour gummy worms. But I don't know how we'll get him a girlfriend, specifically a model." Jonah explained.

"Yeah. But what if it's not the Ben guy in the first place? Then who would it be?" Corbyn asked.

We all fell silent. "We'll start with this guy first. At least we somewhat have a lead of what he wants." Zach piped up.

"Wait, but guys. There's one more thing." Cameron said. "In 8th grade, he said that he wanted Hailey."

"He's not getting close to her!" Zach said holding my hand.

But if it was the only way to save Keely, I'd give myself away to him. "I'm going." I took a deep breath.

"No!" Zach said. "You can't. He might abuse you, it take advantage of you."

"But it's the only way we can save Keely." I said squeezing his hands. "I love you."

"Woah, it's not going g to be easy locating him in the first place though. We don't know where he could be." Jonah said. "And how about we trick him. He gives us Keely first, and then 'give you to him.'" he said putting his hands in quotes. "We can get her back and you'll be safe. I don't want to lose my best friend again."

"He used to joke about living in an old shed in Toronto." Zach said. "I think we should go to Toronto first."

The search will start when I get home from camp, or maybe even tonight if I have the time to do so. I leave for camp tomorrow and I'm going to be there until Friday. If I ahve enough time I'll write the next chapter, but I have to pack tonight and I have four games tonight. Bye!
