When Hailey asked if we could go on a speedboat I brightened up and so did Logan.
We walked down Navy Pier at about noonish. Jonah bought Keely popcorn at the pier and me and Hailey shared cotton candy. Logan didn't look too happy about it but then he seemed a bit more comfortable. Hailey kept on ignoring her phone even though it was vibrating like crazy. "Who's that?" I asked her.
She sighed and rolled her eyes saying, "This guy from the hotel."
Miles: hey
miles: u there
miles: we should hang out sometime
miles: what are u doing rn?
miles: u there?
miles: what's your favorite color?
miles: it was funny when you rejected my friend
miles: btw he says hi
miles: his name is Connor.
miles: he says u lookin like a snack
miles: we should chill sometime
miles: gtg my phone is almost dead.
miles: nice talking to u beautiful.
"Ugh he won't stop texting me and I swear he's gonna blow up my phone!" Hailey said annoyed.
"You may now enter the boat." Someone said over a loudspeaker. "Two to a seat, and no more. No exceptions." I walked in the boat and helped Hailey in too. Jonah did the same with Keely. I sat next to Hailey, Jonah and Keely sat next to each other, Daniel and Logan were laughing at something, and Corbyn and Jack were just pretending to be birds.
"So, are you and Kaylie still talking?" Hailey asked me casually.
"No way!" I denied. "She's so annoying and clingy! I just like another girl...you know?" I said.
She nodded in agreement. "At first Miles seemed like a really nice guy. But now he won't stop texting me. And I feel the same. I'm interested in another guy."
We felt the engine start and put our seat belts on. Hailey looked really pretty and I couldn't stop staring at her. I wrapped my arm around her and her ears went red.
"What?" She asked me.
I grinned at her and said "Nothing."
We could both hear Corbyn and Logan yelling and saw Keely cuddled up with Jonah. "I looked at her and said, "Sometimes don't you wish you can turn back time?" She looked at me and nodded slowly. We started leaning in until someone yelled "GO GET SOME ZACH!"
I gave Jack a look saying "You spoiled it bitch."

We got off the boat and Hailey, Keely, and Logan all stopped dead in their tracks. "Hailey, what's wrong?" I asked her softly.
"Hailey, don't make eye contact." Logan said.
Keely muttered, "Imma beat that bitch."
"That's Liam my ex." She whispered shaking. I held her hand for reassurance and she gripped on it tight.
He must've noticed us because he said, "Hey babe."
"Get away from her bitch! You motherfucking piece of shit-" Keely advanced on him ready to punch him. Jonah pulled her back and her face was red with anger.
"You don't deserve her dickface! Get away from my sister or else.." Logan threatened. Hailey clung onto me and Jack, Corbyn, and Daniel all walked up to Hailey.
"Liam, just go." She whispered.
"Come on Hailey, we shouldn't stop for him. Let's go get something to eat." Corbyn suggested.
"I just want you to know, that I still love you. Please come back to me babe." Liam said.
"Don't babe her!" I yelled at him standing in front of Hailey. He just laughed at me.
"What are you? Her new boyfriend?" He laughed.
"Yes." she mumbled blushing. He looked shocked.
"Come on Hailey lets go." Jack said. We all walked away from him.

We went to this café and I saw a lot of guys staring at Keely and Hailey. Jonah cleared his throat and out his arm around Keely. I still don't know how they're not a thing yet.
"What would you guys like to drink?" A waitress asked us winking at me. I looked at Hailey and she looked pretty flustered.
"Coffee." Jonah, Hailey, Keely, and Logan said at the same time. She nodded and scribbled it down. I got iced tea and so did Corbyn and Daniel. Jack just got water.
When the waitress got back she purposely spilled Haileys coffee on Hailey. She gave her an evil glance and Hailey just sat there in shock. "Whoops, sorry!" She said fake.
Another waitress ran up to her and said "Are you alright sweetie?" She was a middle aged woman. "Sorry, but Francessca always does this. You know what, everything is on me. I'm so sorry about that!"
"Thanks." Hailey said. I could tell that she was embarrassed even though her face wasn't red. I gave her my sweatshirt and it looked so cute on her. It was too big on her but it was still cute. Luckily I was wearing a black shirt underneath.
We all just got sandwiches and ate in silence.
sorry but the past two chapters were just fillers. next chapter is a big one.
