-evans the type of centuar that is tied to nature

-particularly, forests

-hes a lot stronger and more confident when surrounded by trees

-it doesnt make a lot of sense but thats just how it is

-jared surprised evan by taking him to an abandoned orchard, kept alive by a few nymphs hed befriended and theyd given him a key

-the nymphs keep it locked to keep littering and destructive others out

-but evan would never do that and jared knows evan would hate him if he hurt a tree so both are permitted into the sanctuary

-sidenote-in that animals form, jared can communicate with animals

-that does not work with different languages though

back on track to evan

-with some concentration, he can bring trees back to full health and accelerate their growth

-he just puts his hand on it it fixes itself

jared: *grabs evans hand after he does his tree fixy thing* *puts it to his forehead* "now me."

-anyway, sometimes trees die and evan is like, lowkey strong af in forests so he helps the nymphs move the dead tree out

-one time a logging company found out about the orchard and tried to cut it down

-evan was more angry than anyone had ever seen him, fast traveling to the orchard with jared on his back

-a bit later some activists from school arrive and through their combined efforts and some magic help they get the logging company to leave

-the orchard is where theyd go on future dates

-because, thats where evan said his perfect date would be

-one time jared planned a totally platonic picnic

sidenote

jared knows when he first enters the orchard, this is where he will propose to evan

should he beat the odds to get to a place where that wouldnt put evan in a stressful situation of course

or maybe he'll do it with a ringpop just for funsies
