Causality
So maybe you managed to get under my skin
What did it get you
A fleeting satisfaction
A guilty conscience
What you thought of me
Moi Ange think twice
Maybe I brought my own destruction
You were only a pawn in this game
Maybe all I let you see was a facade
Never the reality
I let you see what you wanted
Gave you what I promised
Even if they were all sweet white lies
Somewhere you'd find the truth that lies
Hidden within
The poison I mixed in
Honey
A sweet agony
The curses and the compliments
Oh the heart break
The never-ending regrets
Its not a civil war
For if it were
There would be
Two
Casualities
You
And
I
The others will laugh
Act as spectators
To our wager
As we ruin ourselves
With games
Cunning
Cutting
Characteristic
And the ever flourishing vices
You will see it yourself
As we disappear
In the sea of madness
In the waters of love
Those who drown
Are the ones that get across
But we only came for a sip
In the eternal elixer
Of pain
Of power
Of purity
But we were not aware
Of this drugging misery
and not knowing
Used to be bliss
Or the start
Of this threateningly beloved tradegy
Darling
War never caused peace
Work never brought rest
Money didn't buy happiness
Medicines didnt kill the pain
All your efforts
Don't let them go in vain
Just because you fell once
Bruised your pride
Only remember
When its all said and done
Darling I warned you
But you never listen
You brought it upon yourself
The chaos of heartbreak
And look at you
Now
Your soul as fresh as
New spring
Is turned into
murky water
And its a pity
I had to contaminate
You
But atleast you
Can now hold onto
A part of me
Maybe it will be purified
By you so I can
Rest in Peace
Darling for your sins so atone
The only consolation;
my love you aren't alone
You are not alone
