You were drowning
And I could see the accusation
In your eyes
Flowing with tearsBut I stood there
Safe it seemed to you
At the shore
Watching you
And telling you
To learn how to swimI had asked the same thing once
He saved me
He did
But before I could
Heave a breath
He left
Leaving me in this
Barren Island
In the middle of nowhereMy existence is no way to live
So let me save you
By letting you drown
