He kissed her, and she didn't stop him. She even kissed him back, slowly, as if she was enjoying it, and after all, maybe she was. It seemed like it was lasting forever, even though it was happening really fast. And when the kiss stopped, leaving them both out of breath, she whispered, in a way that showed she never wanted to say this, like she was being forced.

"We can't do this."

And then, she opened her eyes, looking at his with the most broken look he ever saw. 

"Why? He whispered at his turn.

-Because I didn't change, I just got worse. 

-I know.

-And because, honestly, you totally fucked me up. You broke me like hell. And I can't let that happen anymore. I can't let you take everything I built since you left and destroy it again."

He looked at her sadly, and couldn't find anything to say. So she stood up, and left as he was still watching her, trying to find something, anything to make her stay. But it was too late.
