Stefan' POV
I was dreading every step I took towards the cottage. I knew Elena must have have heard my car engine. Damn you vampire ears.!.!
As I opened the cottage door, I noticed a small smile on Alaric's face. Guess he was relieved he no longer would have to stand Elena alone..
No offense but as more & more time passed she was getting more & more impatient.!
She was not ready to accept Damon's death. Truly speaking none of us were. Alaric lived each minute with guilty consciousness. He felt he should have let Damon come first... I guess he was underestimating Damon too much. He would have always sent Alaric first just like Lexie who stayed back to make sure I got my brother. I still do sometimes wonder what happened to them.!
Elena was adamant that there was some way to bring them back, Damon Bonnie Lexie... Her hope was initially giving us all hope, but being rejected by already so many witches I had little hope left.!
"So what happened?" asked Elena, her eyes had so much hope. It felt bad breaking the news to her.
"They don't think anything can bring them back." I said it slowly hoping Elena took in every word & understood.
"Oh well another batch of immature witches.! God when will they learn. We will just try the next on list then." said Elena bringing our list of the witches alive, thanks to Klaus, guess Caroline was having a positive effect afterall..
"Elena listen to me.."
"No Stefan you listen to me" Elena cut me mid sentence,
"We are not giving up on him. Not him not Bonnie nor Lexie. We will bring them back."
I sighed out in defeat, "Its not about giving up..."
"Well than what you call it?" A voice coming from the doorway interrupted me.
We were suprised to look at our visitor or should I say an unexpected visitor.!
