Blood Brothers

Elena's POV

I couldn't believe it. Finally! We were gonna bring Damon back. I would finally see him for real, feel him for real & never let him go. Jeremy would be so happy, Bonnie would be back too. First thing as I reach back I was gonna call him. I knew I had been a crappy sister these past 2 months but I know, it is finally fruitfull.!

"So how we start now" I asked her, I couldn't wait to get started.

"Have patience dearie. Its a powerful ritual & there are certain things that need to be in place" she said with her calm voice. It had so much calmness or casualness should I say, it was getting sickening. Every moment of her oh-so-casual nature was getting on my nerves. How could someone be so confident.?.!

"What is that you need?" asked Stefan.

"I am gonna need an eclipse & lucky for you its just 2 week away. It will be a perfect timing. And yes I am gonna need half of your undiluted blood..."

"What do you mean by undiluted?" I asked her cutting her in between.

"Undiluted as in while the blood is removed no new quantity of blood can be fed or entered in my system" Stefan replied to my query in his grave voice.

"Have you gone nuts! You remove half the volume a blood without replenishing he may die!" I knew I was screaming again but this was absurb.

"Sweetie the key word here is may, he may die. If he is strong I am sure he will survive it. Plus its a small price to pay to see his brother" she said in a matter-of-factly way.

"I am ready.."

"What! Just stop Stefan. Just stop for a moment & think this through" I said begging him.

"What's there to think Elena? Don't you want them back? For past 2 months we have been trying nothing but for this moment. You can't go weak now. I had died that night only when my heart was ripped out. This second chance at life has been a gift. I am the 1 who should have been there not Damon. & we've been through worst, I am sure we can survive this also" Stefan said finally losing his cool. Guess he finally let out all that was building in inside him.

I knew each word he had said was right. This was the moment we had waited for. I had to take this chance. Stefan would survive this. I had to trust him.

So much had changed since I first met this Salvatore Brothers. From being at each others neck they had come a long way. They had always been there for each other. They had been real brothers but now they literally will be blood brothers.!
