The Unexpected Visitor

Stefan's POV

To say we were surprised was the understatement. Enzo waltzed in and sprawled himself on the sofa.

"Yes Stefan. What do you call this" said Enzo, with his every word, every nerve in my body wanted to wreck his neck.

"Well we have been trying our best.."

"Oh really, where's Damon then? Is this your best? Or you are just happy that now you have the chance of winning the girl back.." before he could complete, I pushed him against the wall, ready to wring his neck.

"Listen to me, I may have been a crappy brother but unlike you I hadn't been AWOL for past 2 months." I growled at him as I slowly released him from my grip.

"For your information, my search has been more fruitful than yours" said Enzo, there was hint of attitude like he had just cracked the jackpot.

"What is it Enzo?" said Elena. Well looks like he succeded in getting the attention he wanted.

"Well there's this someone-"

"A witch right?" said Elena cutting him mid sentence. She's been doing that a lot lately.

"Well not exactly" said Enzo. I don't know but now it felt like was also unsure of this.

"Get to the point" said Alaric, he too didn't want to bear his non sense anymore.

"I would if you people let me complete.! Yes so where were we, oh yes! This thing or should I say person, its different. You will know it when you meet. Here's the address." said Enzo handed a small chit to Elena. I snatched it from her & read the address. It was far out on the countryside.

"And why should we trust you" I asked him. I still had doubts.

"Well you don't have much of choices have you.?" he said back with his voice filled with so much arrogance I felt again punching him in the face.

Looks like he read my thoughts as he started his exist before turning back one last time,

"It would be nice to be in Mystic Falls & call it a home" he said & left away...

In that moment it felt like he was genuine, like he too like us wanted the place called home...!
