To say I was surprised was an understatement. The Original hybrid, our one time nemesis was standing here with his smirk on the face. I noticed he wasn't the only company we had...

I was squished by air tight hug by Caroline.! It felt likes ages since I had seen her.. I saw Klaus getting a little tensed hence I thought of teasing him a little.. I wrapping Caroline in my arms and gave her a crushing hug.! I could hear an almost growl from Klaus. I could help but a giggle left my mouth. It was amusing to see an original hybrid be squirming like that.! Caroline looked at my face with question mark but I just shook my head. I noticed there were Elijah and Hayley too. She looked different. I guess we had lot of catching up to do.

We were all sitted in the living room: the 2 originals, the new hybrid ( we just came to know of), Caroline, Elena, Alaric and me. We were updating of the recent happenings and the shocker was Esther's and Mikael's return. I still hadn't solved the mystery of their sudden visit.

It wasn't until Klaus started talking with so much interest about our deal that I felt the visit had something to do with My....

What! Wait. Where did "my" come from? Those eyes were messing with my brains. For now I needed to focus here.

"....and hence we think Esther is here to strike a deal to with Ava to get Klaus and the remaining us, Original vampires killed" completed Elijah and I was totally lost as to what they were talking about.

"Ava who?" Asked Elena

Thank god I wasn't the only one who got surprised by the name.

"Oh please guys don't tell me you don't even know about the girl you made deal with to get our friends back.!" Exclaimed out Caroline.

Truth to be told it was weird we didn't but it all happened so fast we didn't realise.

"Relax love. I guess they need an update to their history" said Klaus

"If you know her, it means she is what thousand years old?" Enquired Alaric, his interest seems to be spiking up now.

"She's gonna help you bring your friends from the other side which is thought to be destroyed. You people seriously think a newbie can do that!" Hayley spoke in. I guess even she is better informed than us.

"Ava is even more older than us. She was Ayana's mentor & Esther has learned everything she knows from Ayana. She is more powerful & maybe more older than all of us combined in the room" Elijah told us

"Wow! She is really really old. But she looked so..."

"Looks can be decieving dear Elena" said Elijah cutting Elena mid sentence.

"She knows about things we can only imagine. Her magic is powerful and effortless. Even after knowing her you feel like you don't know her. She has this natural aura of mystery. Her magic goes beyong this world and that is why Esther knows she is the one that can help her kill us. Its only matter of time until she strikes a deal." Said Klaus

Whatever he may have done I really felt bad that his own mother & father wanted him dead.

"So there are chances the deal might already be made while we are talking" said alaric

"It's not that simple. You must really have something to interest her. Esther knows it too and will wait for the right moment to strike. It's surprising she settled for a land deal." Remarked Elijah

Same here I thought. That question had been burning a hole in my mind. Why our land? Even after knowing so much now it still felt like a lot was unknown...
