At Solaria Mansion - Part II

Elena's POV

From the moment we noticed Esther & Finn in the room, there was a growing tension. Caroline was trying her best to keep Klaus under control cause any wrong move could work to our disadvantage.

Soon the dancing started which actually helped & saved us. Soon the floor was filled with couples waltzing around, Caroline & Klaus and Hayley & Elijah too joined them. It felt good to see them happy, atleast someone had found love, peace & solace. I noticed among us now only me & Stefan were standing on the outskirts, not dancing. He seemed in delimma as if to ask someone to dance or not. I hoped it wasn't me, even if it were why would he think so much!

Before the song changed Matt came up to me asked to dance. I didn't want but then he had his way.! I was with him on the floor trying to catch up with others. It had really been a long time since I had been out like this. Oh I missed Damon so much. But things would change. He will be right here with me soon...

We were twirling when Caroline poked me and pointed in some direction. Stefan was walking towards Ava & asked her to dance with me! Shocker! Stefan himself invited some to dance!! That also Ava nevertheless! This evening was turning more & more interesting.

It was only I guess an hour into the party when Matt excused himself to go home. So early?

When I questioned him, he said he was feeling tired & sleepy. That was weird. Slowly I noticed few more people leave when all of suddenly the music stopped. It became way too quiet.

"You put up quiet an show Esther" we heard Ava say.

"Well I had to make sure the innocent humans weren't harmed" Esther replied.

Well it was happening. Esther was finally going to get her deal. Oh god!

"Well if you really cared for the humans you wouldn't have turned your children" Ava shooted back. "You had no right to ruin my party like that" she continued

Wait whats happenning.! I looked around and everyone had a similar question mark expression. I saw there were not really much people left. Actually if I went to see only us the supernatural were present!

"It was a simple spell that would make the humans drowsy and want to sleep, so that they can peacefully leave" Esther said in her defence. Oh so thats why Matt and others left so early.

"I know I made a mistake when I created this monsters. But now I want to end it" Esther continued

"End it?! How could you! You call yourself our mother!" Klaus bellowed. He was raging with anger.

"Enough. You ruined my party Esther, you ruined my mood. I dont wanna talk to you." Ava coolly offed Esther. We could see Klaus's rage cooling down & a smirk playing on his face.

"Do you even know who I am!" Esther lashed out

"A failed disciple of my student Ayana who can't rest in peace because of her own greed for power" Ava was still cool but you could see the fire started to rage in her eyes. They looked even more dangerous now.

"Get out right now & take you attitude with you. I never have & never will take orders not atleast from a pathetic excuse for human being like you" Ava concluded.

"You damn right don't know. You will pay for this kid. You will pay for this." Esther stormed out. Finn follwed her.

"Ava" Klaus called out

"Niklaus?"

"Thank you" Klaus simply replied.

"That bitch of you mother needed that" she said with her smirk. "And for rest of you, the party is over. Go home" she said to us as she took leave & disappeared in her castle...!
