Alaric's POV
The evening had been more weird than anticipated. Since the travellers spell no longer existed over Mystic Falls, we all had taken residence at the Salvatore Boarding house. Good it was built later & wasn't part of The Salvatore Estate or we would be homeless. As we settled in near the fireplace, I couldn't help but question Klaus & Elijah on what took place at the end.
"We didn't think she would have remembered..." Klaus said
"Obviously its been a 1000 years" Elijah replied
"Okay so theres a back story we are unaware of so can you please care to elaborate" I said getting impatient.
"Years back when we were still human & Ava was mentoring Ayana & Esther; we all used to be good friends. Ava would come by & visit. For us at that time she was only an innocent little girl who was our friend. It wasn't until we turned did we learn her truth" Elijah narrated.
"Our memories of her are at her best human time. Since Mikael started hunting us, we were on the run. It was the last we saw of Ava." Klaus continued almost as if remeniscing those days.
"Why can't you now just ask her help against Esther & Mikael?" Caroline chirped in.
"Its not that simple love. We had experienced the human side of her. Theres whole other aspect of Ava that goes with the deal business. It was what you saw today raging in her eyes. If she can be calm as a deep ocean bed she can also silt throats at snap of her fingers. Her powers are endless and we do not want to play with fire.." Klaus explained
Everyone was engrossed in their own thoughts, taking in this new found knowlegde but I couldn't help but notice Stefan. He was deep in thoughts elsewhere, away from the conversation...
