At Solaria Mansion - Part I

Caroline's POV

The plush Solaria Mansion had us all in awe. It was not only beautiful but magnificent. It was like a house out of fairy tale book. The garden had vast variety of flowers and plants. It was well kept with a grand fountain in the centre that had shimmering water flowing out. When we entered in, we were welcomed by sophiscately decorated ball room. The huge chandelier, glittering silk curtains, subtle colors of wall, the soft music & variety of antique show pieces scattered all over the room was mind bloggering. There was a large table set up with mouth watering food & waiters serving delicious wine & drinks. Whatever that may happen today, I knew it was the evening I would never forget.

Everyone around seemed to be dressed to the occassion. Thank god we were not far behind! It took a little persuading but Stefan & Elena let me style them, not that I would have allowed them to come haphazardly! Stefan looked dashing in his formal black tie attire.

Elena wore a net, A-line/princess, bateau neckline sleeveless dress with emblishment of beading & empire waist (extreme right green in the picture). Although she was so against, I applied a little light makeup to make her skin tone look a tab bit bettet! She looked pretty to say the least.

As for me, I had worn a chiffon sheath/column one shoulder sleeveless dress with emblishment of beading, seqiun & crystal and a natural waist (middle yellow). I too decided to do a light natural makeup. As for our hair we had them them fall down straight with little bouncy curls as end.

Elijah & Klaus needed no help. They were groomed to the finest. Although Hayley surprised me at how good she can clean up but I figured it was affect of the company!

I had never met Ava only heard of her but apparently I had no difficulty in spoting in her around the room. She was the prettiest in the room with her beautiful golden almost black dress (extreme left). It looked perfect on her flawless smooth skin. Her rosy lips and blood red ruby eyes were enchanting. I was so jealous. It would be difficult for any man to not fall in love with her...

My thoughts were halted mid way when I sensed Klaus stiffened next to me. First I thought he was mesmerised by Ava too but when I looked in the direction he was looking, my breath caught up too. There they were, Esther & Finn standing across the room, staring at us. Elijah was quckly by our side & put a hand on Klaus's shoulder to calm him down so that he wouldn't act rashly.

It was gonna be an exciting eveing...
