The Girl In Red Hood

Elena's  POV

The drive to the address Enzo had given was a long one or I felt it so. I couldn't wait to get there. Stefan was driving but I feel he too was getting impatient. I knew I had been getting on everyone's nerve but I had to get Damon back. I couldn't give up on him.

I was brought back to the reality by the screeching of the car coming to halt.

"We are there." Stefan said.

I looked out from the window & from what I saw, I may have missed a few breathes. Thank god I was a vampire. The very sight of the place screamed creepy. There was this huge mansion, with its huge windows & grey color looked quiet haunted. As we started slowly walking towards it we the saw the garden, it had no flowers just a mass of lush grasses and creepers around the fence camouflaging it. It felt as if the air had gone cold all of sudden. I tightened my jacket and looked at Stefan. He too seemed to be having the same weird feeling.

All the supernatural creatures I had met, may it be Stefan a vampire, Bonnie a witch, Tyler a werewolf or Klaus the orginal hybrid, all of them had seemed normal until I knew the reality. But this placed, it screamed creepy from the moment we had entered the grounds. It was as if every inch of it was telling me to turn back & go away. But what they didn't know was that there was no turning back.!

When we reached the door, it was open.! We slowly entered. It looked quiet deserted. I wondered if anyone even lived here.!

"Come here," called a female voice from the interior. It was a mystical voice with a sweet melody to it. We followed the voice & reached a room.

I had expected candles, grimoires and other witchcrafts. Au contraire we were met by a huge fire place & a young girl, roughly my age sanding in front of it.

"Excuse me, I am.."

"Stefan Salvatore, I know" she said cutting Stefan mid sentence.

"& you must be Elena" she turned around a looked at us.

"Yes we are.." I was hoping Stefan would continue but I heard no voice. I looked but he was not paying attention. It seemed as if all his focus was on the girl in red hood.
