A Hero's Destiny 2 (HTTYD)

Chaptèr 2

Lankton's POV.

I figured while everybody celebrates I'll go talk to the prisoner. I mean he might actually give me what I want. And if he can, than he is as good as free from here.

I told the few half drink guards to let me in. The obliged and I went down. This prison is tremendous. It goes down far in rock and many different gates.

By the time I found Gregovich, he was in the last cell. It had an iron door, than iron gates to get in our out. They really wanted this guy dead. Perfect.

I took a chair and cleared my throat to make myself known. Gregovich just said

"And what does a pretty boy like you, doing in a place like this?"

"A pretty boy? I'm the Slauter tribe chiefs son, show respect."

"I don't show respect to anybody but 1 man. He proved himself, yet he will still die for my armz"

"Who is that? Hiccup? That puny little inconvenience? You should show nothing toward him. He is nothing."

"Nothing? Tell me, have you killed anyone? A dragon even?"

"Your getting off track old man."

"Old? Haha ok what do you want?"

"Well unlike the others, I know that couldn't have been your entire army. I heard you had a dragon."

"A dragon yes I do. What is it to you?"

"Like I said, why wasn't that dragon in battle? You must have more men."

"Ok, fine. I do have more. What I had was only bout half what I got."

"Perfect. I'll help you escape if..."

"If what?"

"If I get to rule over both these tribes after victory. I get to have my own village with everybody under my feet."

"Hmmm and how do I know you won't cross me?"

"Hahaha I want what you want. I want the death of Hiccup, I want my own father and Stoick dead to rule. I want power."

"Hmm fine. How so you suppose I escape?"

"Leave that to me. It may take a few days, but I'll get you out."

Astrid's POV.

-the next day-

I've slept here waiting for Hiccup to wake again. It's going to be two weeks without him awake in a few days. Gobber comes up like usual to feed him that disgusting substance. But I like have his company at those times.

He always told me

"Astrid, he still loves you. Even if you two are broken up. He still needs a mate to become chief. He's just being stubborn."

Whenever he said that I'd smile from crying. He's right but I don't know if Hiccup will forgive me. He is stubborn but I know he will come around.

Than every few hours the team would come up to talk. They needed Hiccup just as much as I. He was their leader. He was the head of the team. They all would sit around and talk as though he were awake. It made me feel better knowing that

Than Stoick came by tonight. He sat down on the other side of Hiccup and looked at him peacefully. My ham Stoick spoke to me

"Astrid, you know we might have to prepare for the worst..... It will be hard but we might have to."

"Stoick, he's alive. We can't... He will wake up for me.."

"Astrid, just prepare yourself."

After that he left and I cried. I don't want to think about that. He will come back to me. He has too. Before I went to sleep by his side I whispered

"Hiccup, please baby. Come back to me. Wake up so I know your still mine and here with me.... Please...."

Than I fell asleep.

-3 days later-

Omniscient POV.

Hiccup has still yet awoken from his wound. As Astrid stays by his side.

Lankton has finally gotten himself ready to let Gregovich escape. What he doesn't know is Gregovich can't be trusted.

Lankton drugged the guards and went inside the prison with keys. As he got to the cell he whispered

"Let's go, the time is now."

He unlocked the gates and they started to sneek to the ships. They planned to take Lanktons personal ship out.

As they headed toward the docs, a man yell

"He's gone! Gregovich escaped!!"

As they heard that Stoick yelled

"Guards around my boy! Find that murderer!!"

As they tried to get to the docs, men spotted the 2. Lankton told Gregovich to take him "hostage" if they find them.

So as Stoicks men got closer, Gregovich did just that. He had a knife behind Lankton and was walking toward the ship.

The men wouldn't go near, knowing he will kill Lankton. As they got closer to the ship and just on it, Gregovich set it up or sail.

As he finished the prepositions, he smiled at Lankton and said

"Never trust a murderer kid, you'll get yourself killed."

"Wha-

Just than Gregovich stabbed Lankton making him fall into the water. Men went after Lankton as others got a shop ready to chase after Gregovich.

Once Lankton was on the docs he was already dead. Stoick went down and saw this. He stopped his men from readying a ship and left at that.

Drako saw his son dead and looked hurt. But Drako was never a good father. All he saw was a son that couldn't protect himself.

They all walked away as men took Lankton to get on a small vessel to give him a Vikings passage.......
