Chaptèr 22

-next day-

Hiccup's POV.

Vulcan and I set off the island toward Berk. I missed my home and family. It was terrible being away, and worse as a captive.

I have been riding Vulcan had been flying 3 hours and he is huge. I could walk around and do whatever. It's around 1 in the afternoon but it's nice out.

As we flew I started seeing a dragon. I didn't think dragons were migrating. It looked like a deadly nadder.. Wait.... That's not just any deadly nadder... Wait is that Toothless behind?

Oh no.... Why can't she ever listen to me? I told her to stay away. To just wait. Nope... She had to come...

Within a few minutes they flew next to Vulcan. Astrid saw me and all I said was

"Hey!"

"HICCUP!!! YOU ESCAPED?"

They landed on Vulcan and I got pounced on by her. It was nice seeing her safe. I gave her a kiss and she kept it going.

After a few minutes she stopped and looked at me. Than I said

"So.. You couldn't listen to me and stay away?"

"Really? Your going to start this?"

"Well I'm just saying, I wanted you safe."

"I was safe, I was just gonna break you out!"

"Well as you can see, I took care of it."

"Yeah you did... How?"

"I outsmarted a stupid guard."

"Really? That easy?"

"Yup."

"Well I'm glad your safe."

She gave me another hug and we laid down. Toothless came up to me and licked me.... I hate when I can't get that out....

But it was a great start for the afternoon....

Astrid's POV.

I couldn't believe what I saw when Stormfly, Tiothless and I were going to save Hiccup. Vulcan was fly and with Hiccup!!

We talked a while and I kissed him passionately. It was great and I missed kissing him.

We lied down and I cuddled up to him. It was nice and I missed him. Than I noticed dry blood down his neck.

"Hicc?"

"Yeah?"

"Sit up for a few minutes."

"Uh.. Ok why?"

"Just sit up!"

"Ok ok hold on!"

He sat up and I went behind him. I started moving his hair around and found a large cut on his head. I put a little pressure on it and he yelled

"OOWW, Astrid, what was that for?"

"I was checking if you had pain there! I guess you do..."

"Yeah.. I've had that cut since they fought me."

"Well I still have those few gallons of Vulcans spit at home. Wait he's right here. Hold on."

I walked up to Vulcan's head and with the wind some of his spit flew out of his mouth. (Kinda like a dogs head out the window)

I caught what I could and I put it on his cut. It was healing instantly. Good, he needed to heal.

After he was all good we laid back down and it was a clam flight home. We lied together and just waited to see everyone's face when he gets home.

-few hours later-

We finally saw Berk in view and I smiled. I have me babe home and safe. As we came in view Hiccup told Vulcan

"Land on the beach by the cove, there is room for you there."

He did that and everyone was yelling

"A giant beast!"

"Is that Vulcan?"

"STOICK!!"

It was kind of funny. When we landed everyone looked down and saw Stormfly, Toothless and Hiccup an I.

Hiccup got on Toothless to fly out and I got on Stormfly. As we flew up we heard yelling

"The chiefs son has returned!"

"HICCUP!"

"Someone get Stoick!"

We flew down to meet everybody and the team was there too. We got down and everyone was bombarding Hiccup with questions.

The main questions were "

"how did you survive?"

Or

"How'd you escape?"

All Hiccup kept saying was

"They tortured me but it wasn't too bad. And I escaped by out smarting a guard."

They all just seemed to listen and Stoick came up and spoke

"SON!!! How are ya?"

"Fine dad..."

"Good! Are you injured?"

"I was. Astrid healed it though."

"Good good. I've missed you son.. Don't make an old man worry."

"Haha ok dad."

At that we left. The team was following us except Fishlegs. He was the only 1 not there. Than out of nowhere I saw him running at us.. Than he said

"ASTRID! Thanks for your advice! Ashly and I are ok now!!"

"Uh..... No problem Fishlegs.."

He left and we got home. Right when we got in the house Hiccup asked

"What was all that about?"

"Well I guess that he told you before he had girl troubles."

"Yeah and?"

"Well he told me because you were....gone... But I helped him figure a way to get her back."

"Oh... Well good job.."

"Thanks.."

It was nice talking to him. Seeing him and just everything. I really missed him...

Hiccup's POV.

I got home and I guess Astrid helped out Fishlegs. That's great. I was really hungry though. So I got up and started cooking.

Astrid asked

"What are you doing?"

"Uh cooking? That ok?"

"No it isn't! I'll cook. You relax. You've been away more than a week."

"Uh ok.."

I sat down and she started cooking. It was nice to be home, safe and with her.. I can't wait till we start our family. I hope we do soon....

I'm really sorry I didn't update yesterday. I had half the chapter done and went to a festival to ride different rides.. Yeah 1 ride broke my writing hand around 3 and I was at the hospital. So it may take longer to update now. I'll try my best. But comment if you liked, don't if you didn't.
