Chaptèr 14

-day before the wedding-

Hiccup's POV.

I just woke up to my beautiful girlfriend next to me. It's hard to believe that tomorrow she will be my wife. I can't wait.

Today we are supposed to spend the whole day together. Than separate before tonight. An old tradition but must be kept. As I sat up in bed I felt arms wrap around my body.

"Morning babe."

"Morning Hicc."

She kissed my neck and gods I wanted to go at it. But I can wait 1 more night. So I kissed her and got up. She frowned but I had to. I got dressed in my armor and went downstairs.

As I got down there I got a barrel of fish for Toothless and chicken for Stormfly. By the time that was done Astrid was down in the kitchen cooking.

I kissed her and asked

"What are you making?"

"Eggs an bacon for the love of my life!"

"Oh. Where is he?"

"Next to me silly!"

"Oh really? Is he cute?"

"Handsome!"

"Is he strong?"

"He is very strong."

"Is he a good guy?"

"The best guy I know!"

"Hmmm sounds like a keeper."

After I said that she jumped into my arms and we started to kiss. We kept kissing for a while tell I said

"Smell that? Smells like-

I got up and poured water over breakfast. We completely forgot about the food.

"Oh my gods Hiccup I'm sorry!"

"It's ok! Just we need to cook more now."

"Yeah..."

So we started over. This time I didn't get her started on kissing me so much. Even though it was great. We ate and heard a knock so Astrid got up and went to the door.

Astrid's POV.

I got up to check the door and guess who it was!! Heather!

"Hey Heather, what's up?"

"Oh just stopping by.... I knocked this time!!!"

"Haha yeah I heard it. So uh, do you need something?"

"No just wanted to hang out today.."

"Oh.. Uh well you see me and Hiccup were going to hang out all day together."

"Oh that's ok, I don't mind. Uh have fun."

"Thanks"

After she left I saw Hiccup already doing the dishes. It's hard to believe tomorrow is finally the day. I helped him and first thing we set off to do was go to the cove.

The most romantic spot and the quietest spot for us. We stayed there and talked. We ate fish we caught for lunch. Than when it hit about 2 Hiccup said

"You know I will always love you right?"

"Of course."

"And that I'd do anything to save you."

"Yeah. Why are you saying this though? I know this."

"I have my reasons. Just always remember that."

"Ok.."

After that I didn't know what to think. He's hiding something and isn't telling. I need to figure it out. I don't want him getting hurt because of it... Just than he kissed me.

I kissed him back. As we were kissing I heard a crack behind a bush. I stopped and asked

"Hicc, did you hear that?"

"Yeah... Wait here."

He got his sword out and started walking toward the noise. Than I heard a yelp. It sounded like....

Hiccup's POV.

I got up and checked the bushes. As I did I grabbed whoever it was and they yelped. When I saw I looked at Astrid. Than I said

"It's just Heather."

"Oh."

Heather walked up with me to Astrid and I asked her

"Why were you spying on is?"

"Uh... I wasn't.."

"Than why were you hiding?"

"What do you mean? I was looking for so etching behind the bush."

"Like what?"

"Uh.... A knife! I dropped my knife there."

"Really? Than why do I see a knife there?"

I pointed out her knife.. She's a lousy liar. Than she turned red. As I was sitting back down by Astrid she said

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to hang out.... Fishlegs has a girlfriend, the twins have each other and Snotlout isn't my type.... So yeah..."

"It's fine.. We weren't gonna do much. Where's striker?"

"She's here. Hold on. STRIKER! COME HERE GIRL!"

As she called striker came down. Great. After we all at around talking. By the time it got late I had to leave. We could sleep together the night before. It hurt having to leave. But than again I get to be with her forever after.

As I left I kissed her goodbye and I flew off. It was 9 and I went and slept at my dads. In my old room but it was nice. In just a little bit of time, I will have a wife. Miss Astrid Haddock. I like the ring to that......
