Chaptèr 25

Hiccup's POV.

I was sitting at the cliff for hours. Whatever they heard can't be true. My mother can't be alive.. If she was, she would have come back. She would've been there.

It was around 5 now and everything was going through my head. If she were alive why stay away? Why did she leave me and dad?

As I stayed there Toothless just sat by me and I had years down my face. I couldn't help it. If she really is alive, how could she show herself now.

Toothless just looked at me with Dragon pitty. I hugged him around the neck and was about to walk off. Than I heard someone yell

"HICCUP!"

I looked around and saw Astrid and Stormfly. I turned back around and sat on the cliff again. She came near and put a hand on my shoulder. Than she asked

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Hiccup, I know you better than that. What is it?"

"Astrid, it's nothing."

"Don't gave me that Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III!"

"I'll tell you what I want Astrid Hofferson Haddock."

"What's wrong with you?"

At that she left tearing up. I felt terrible but it's my business for now. She doesn't need to know yet. She left off and I had tears falling too.

What is wrong with me? At that I didn't know what to do. I got on Toothless and got the ceremonial armor. After that I left. I just went away from Berk.

I need to figure this out. I need to know. First though I need to get rid of the threat. If I can destroy the threat, than I can find out who I am. If she is alive, than she knows.....

Astrid's POV.

After what Hiccup said, I flew home. I couldn't believe it. It made me angry. But I don't know why, I felt like something bad was going to happen.

If something did this to him, than what could it be? What could of happened for him to snap like that?

I don't know but I cried. I cried and figured he would be home soon. After it was past 11 I started getting worried. Even if we have a fight, he comes home.

I ended up falling Asleep alone. I don't know where he could of gone.

-next day-

I woke up to nobody by me. Now I'm really worried. Hiccup isn't by my side and there's no sign he was home. I got up and ate some bread. Got dressed and headed out.

I saw Stoick and went up to him.

"Hey Stoick? Have you seen Hiccup?"

"Uh no. Actually the last I saw of him was when he ran away from Gobber and I."

"Why did he run off?"

"I think he heard something that he shouldn't have heard."

"Like?"

"Let him tell you.... It's hard on both of us."

"Well I asked him yesterday.. He snapped at me and I haven't seen him since..."

"Did you check your-

At that he was interrupted by Gibber. He was running and I rarely see him run. He go there and said

"Stoick..... The armor..... It's gone..... I don't....know where.... Gods am I out....of shape... But it's GONE!!"

At that it was Stoick talking to him

"Gobber! Settle down.. What are you talking about?"

"The ceremonial....dragon armor...it's gone.."

"WHAT!!! Who could of taken it?"

Oh no.... Hiccup... He is either in trouble or he is going to be.... I don't think he would of left to fight... But than again he was acting out of it....

I looked at them and they just kept talking. Than I finally spoke up. We need to find and save him. He might get hurt.

"I think I know what happened..."

Stoick looked at me. Than he asked

"What?"

"Well yesterday Hiccup was going to tell you his plan... Than he snapped at me for no reason and he might have taken it.."

"Astrid, what plan?"

"He didn't tell you?"

"He told me nothing. Astrid, what was it?"

"Well he heard that their dragon can't pierce dragon skin. So he was going to slay the dragon with the ceremonial armor and call on for our forces.."

"What? Why did I not hear of this sooner?"

"Well you two obviously said something that got him spooked or worried."

"Oh no... That stubborn Viking of mine. Why did he take after his mother more?"

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing. We just need to find him before he gets himself hurt or worse..."

At that I called on the team. Including Heather. Even though she is new to it......

Hiccup's POV.

It's about 10 in the morning now. Toothless and I have been gone now for more than 12 hours. I wouldn't be surprised if Astrid or anyone noticed I'm missing.

I figured out where Gregovich's men are now and I planned on taking him out. I put on the dragon armor and Toothless and I were soon to be near their army.

Within a few minutes we saw their ships. They saw us. I yelled

"TOOTHLESS DIVE!"

He dived low and we figured out which ship it was that had their dragon. As we flew in I yelled

"PLASMA BLAST!"

He shot out a large plasma blast at the ship and it got a large whole on the side. As we were turning around I put Toothless's auto wing in case of anything.

As we were flying off, I heard somebody yell

"FIRE!"

I looked behind me and saw a sky full or Arrows. Toothless could make it with no extra weight. I jumped off and yelled

"KEEP GOING BUD!"

He looked behind and I fell into the cold ocean waters. As I looked up Arrows were perusing the sea everywhere. I figured this was the end.

I felt an arrow pierce my top right shoulder, lower back and leg. I started sinking lower into the water.

Just think to myself "I'm sorry Astrid." Than I blacked out. I couldn't take it. I was gone.

Ok I had like 30 messages and the 1 comment from fanfic_lover126 wondering about the spear thing. I actually in my free time when I'm not writing, study and practice in ancient weapons. A roman spear and gladious, Greek long sword and roman and Greek style bows. So the spear was a accident. But comment if you liked, don't if you didn't, peace.
