Chaptèr 4

Hiccup's POV.

I just ran out the house looking for dad. Astrid is behind me yelling

"Hiccup, what's wrong?"

I couldn't stop to tell her. I need to find dad! Him living isn't good. They should have killed him! Just than I saw dad walking out if the great hall. So I yelled

"DAD! We need to talk now!"

"Why? What's wrong?"

Than Astrid came over and nailed me in the shoulder.

"Don't you dear run from me again!!"

"Well look what u did now Hiccup, you made Astrid mad at you again."

"Will both of you shut up and listen to what I have to say?"

I could tell they both didn't like what I just said. Oops... But I have done important information so I told them to come back to my house. They listened and came by.

Than I started talking

"Ok, dad. What exactly did you guys decide when you captured Gregovich?"

"Well son, we figured you would be the one to kill him. So we kept him prisoner."

"Ok and you let him escape?"

"Lankton had died. And I wasn't about to lose my own men."

"You should have killed him when you could. Were in trouble again...."

"What do you me Hiccup?" Astrid asked.

"Well you see. I believe that wasn't all of Gregovich's army. Remember what Dtako said? He had a Dragon! There was no Dragon in that battle. Not one. He must have another Army with it. And of he escaped, he will want revenge for his arm. Another war will start."

"What? Son, how do you know this?"

"Like I said. No dragon. It's common sense to know that if you think a little bit."

"Well than, we should start prep orations again."

"No dad. We don't have to. Not for a while. The ship he took, will take weeks to get to where he first came from. It took a month and a half to get him to Vulcan's Island. It will take him around four months to get there and back to Berk. We have time."

"Huh, ok son. Just let us know what you think later. I'll inform the village of the war. But we will wait and see how it takes place."

"Ok."

After that conversation, he left and probably went to Gobber. But after that it was a good night. It got late so I went to bed. Astrid wanted to make sure I'm ok so she slept with me. I'd say a good night:

-next day-

I woke up with Astrid by my side. I got out of bed and put some new clothes on. I still had to fix my armor. It looked terrible. So I went downstairs and set it on the couch so I'd remember it. I fed Toothless and Stormfly as I was down there.

Than I saw a yawning Astrid coming downstairs. So I said

"Morning, why are you up?"

"Like I said before Hiccup. It's hard to sleep when you are up out of bed."

"Oh right. Sorry, you said that like what? a month ago?"

I had to put sarcasm into it. She replied though and figured it out.

"Haha very funny. But it was a while back... "

"Yeah...."

"Sooo, you hungry?"

"Yes Astrud, I was about to cook till you came down."

"Oh. Well than cook! Let's see who's better."

"Astrid we bo-

She cut me off with a kiss. Than she said

"I know what you were about to say. But I'm still pretty good."

I smiled at that. It's true I'm better but she has gotten a lot better. I started cooking a fish type stew. It's a little cold out so why not?

As it finished I got bowls out. Astrid sat there smiling and looking at me. What's gotten into her? So I gave her sone and sat down myself.

We started eating so I asked why she is so happy.

"Uh Astrid? Why do you keep smiling at me?"

"Because Hiccup, I wasn't able to smile at you, let alone look at you for a month without crying. So now that we are together again, I'm happy."

"Oh.... So it's not that I look funny?"

She laughed at that. I knew she would....

Astrid's POV.

I'm so happy I get to be with him again. I mean it's been ages since I've gotten to talk to him. I mean he wouldn't even look at me. Than he after he asked that question and I answered he had to make a joke.

So I made one to and said

"Actually you do look a little funny. It might be you face?"

His look was so like I don't know. Kinda hurt but I felt bad. He said

"Wow...thanks a lot."

"Awe I'm sorry baby, are you going to cry? Come here so I can hold you."

"Whatever."

Too soon? He just got up and walked away. I'm so screwed. I finally get him back and I just upset him.. So I got up and ran to him

"I'm sorry. I thought it was funny...."

"For you maybe. I've been passed out for almost 3 weeks and got stabbed. That kinda hurt."

"I'm sorry Hicc. I didn't mean it. It was just for fun."

"Yeah fun."

I hugged him from behind and he just stood there looking at his armor. I couldn't look at it. It brought bad memories.

He finally turned around and hugged me back. I squeezed and he just sat there with his head on mine. Than he spoke

"I have really got to get that armor fixed. Especially if another war is coming."

"Yeah... We are still going to hang out today though right?"

"Of course. I have to go though. I'll see you later."

He gave me a kiss and started walking out. So I yelled

"I love you!"

"Love you too."

That's when I knew he was really mine again. He left and I left to go to my house to get dressed in new stuff. It was the beginning of a great day.....
