Cough - A sickness that is like a human cold. Symptoms are just coughs and sneezes, though it can be dangerous to kits or young cats. The best treatment is tansy.

Carrionplace Disease- Out of all the clans, ShadowClan knows it the best. This happens when the cats get careless and bring back an infected rat or come in contact with one with the ailment. This illness is similar to greencough but is dangerous and it comes with an unbearable stench! Symptoms include trouble breathing, violent coughing fits, fever, loss of hunger, lack of sleep, exhaustion. Best treatments are borage, coltsfoot, juniper berries, honey, and feverfew.

Asthma/Trouble breathing- When a cat has asthma or trouble breathing this can be life-threatening. Their breathing becomes rapid and unsteady, this can also be affected by allergies and kitting. Symptoms include trouble catching breath, quick or irregular breathing, or fast beating heart after moving too much. The best treatment is Coltsfoot and/or Juniper Berries.

Greencough - A sickness similar to pneumonia that is often rampant among the Clans in leaf-bare. Symptoms include wheezing, coughing, pus excreted from the eyes, sneezing, fever, and green phlegm streaming from the nose. The best treatment is Catmint and Feverfew.

Whitecough - A mild sickness like a cold. More common than greencough, but can become greencough or even the fatal blackcough. Symptoms include sneezing, coughing, white phlegm streaming from the nose, and a slightly high temperature. The best treatment is Catmint and Feverfew.

Blackcough- This illness is fatal and has a high chance of the cat not surviving it. Whitecough or Greencough can advance to this if not treated. You can try to treat it but if it is in the late stages nothing can be done. In this case, the humane thing is to ease their way to StarClan. Symptoms include severe wheezing, coughing, phlegm streaming from the nose, pus or blood expelled somewhere and some way on/out of the body, sweating, high fever, weakness, lethargy. The best treatment is Feverfew, Lavender, and Catmint.

Death Disease- A very painful, illness that kills the cat slowly. Also known as Lyme Disease to humans. This illness is worse then blackcough and there is no cure! The humane thing is to ease their way to StarClan.

Hypothermia -This most common in leaf-bare but it can happen at any time. This illness is caused most commonly when a cat is soaking wet and stays in the cold too long. This ailment happens when the body can't/struggles to keep a steady temperature. There are 4 stages: Impending, mild, moderate, & Severe. Symptoms include sluggishness, drowsiness, fatigue, stumbling, thickening of speech, amnesia, irrationality, hallucinations, lack of perceptual in any place, blueness in the skin, enlargement of pupils, decrease in heart and respiration rates, state of near unconsciousness, insensibility, shivering, poor coordination. More severe symptoms include poor speech, disorientation, a decrease in shivering followed by the rigidity of muscles, blueness of the skin, weak/irregular pulse. The best treatment is to get the cat's body warm at all costs but be careful not to do it too fast. Keep the victim out of the wind and cold and place in a pre-warmed nest and have other cats sleep around him/her to give warmth. The rest is in StarClan's paws.

Chill - A very mild ailment usually caused by very cold weather or falling into icy water. Much like whitecough, but with cold chills instead of fever. The best treatment would be Catmint, feverfew, and lavender.

Cracked pads - A painful ailment usually seen in elderly cats. The paw pads crack from cold or dryness, and if untreated can lead to infection. Symptoms include swelling of the paws and pain. The best treatment is Marigold, Dock, and poppy seed if there is a pain.

Aching Joints- Basically arthritis in cats. Caused by age or damp weather. Symptoms include pain and stiffness. The best treatment is anything that cures pain other than poppy seeds.

Bleeding - Blood loss due to injury, such as a wound sustained in battle. Severity depends on the injury. The best treatment is cobwebs pressed onto the wound.

Poisoning - The case of eating deathberries, poisoned fresh-kill, or a snakebite. The best treatment is yarrow, stinging nettle, and in the case of getting bite by a snake Snakeroot. Basically arthritis in cats. Caused by age or damp weather. Symptoms include pain and stiffness. The best treatment is anything that cures pain other than poppy seeds.
