Also called the villain, this cat usually is evil and is against what the MC stands for. A lot of times, they are clear copies of past villains of the original series (Scourge, Tigerstar, Brokenstar, Mapleshade) and don't have a truly real reason to be evil.
Usually, the antagonist is described as a powerful, broad-shouldered tomcat with dark tabby fur and amber eyes with a name like Darkclaw. Why not a beautiful, slim silver-gray and white she-cat with green eyes named Mistdapple? Darkclaw's reason for being mean? He wants to be in control. Mistdapple's reason to take over? She dislikes how the Clans are set up and wants to see changes, but has the wrong view of doing so.
