Predators

A lot of people only use foxes or dogs or badgers in their stories for predators, but there is a lot more you can use. Of course, I'll go over the main three, but I'll add a few more in. Obviously, some of these won't be commonly found in the Clan territories, but they are still possible predators if they're taking a journey into the enemy's natural habitat.

Badgers: Starting off with one of the most used, badgers are a pretty good enemy for Clan cats, but one problem I've found is that I don't really know how to put in their size. It isn't easy finding out the difference in size, but from what I've found the Warriors books make them seem bigger than they actually are. From the badgers I've seen in videos with cats, they're about the same size. Badgers are bigger and much bulkier, but not as big as I thought from the Warriors books. Don't get me wrong, they're still huge and very fierce. Have you seen the video of a badger going against six lionesses? Yeah, makes sense it takes so many cats to take one down. Those things are rude.

Foxes: About the same size as badgers, foxes are commonly called an enemy or predator to cats. Since they do dwell in forests, it's likely they could run into some of your cats. Just try to think about their living habits, and don't throw them in just because you can.

Dogs: Dogs aren't usually found just randomly in the wild. They can be, but not commonly. Ranging from many, many sizes and many breeds, they can do all sorts. But remember that not all dogs immediately chase cats to the ends of the earth, but also some won't come back right after being called. Speaking of experience before I trained my dog to come back, though she still has some trouble. Anyways, try to keep dogs next to Twolegplaces.

Coyotes: I don't really get why coyotes aren't used more often. Sure, they might not be easy to find out in a forest, but coyotes often get blamed for the killing of a cat. They might not take too much notice to some wild cats walking around, but they could be used much more often. I don't think I've ever seen a coyote in a Warriors story.

Raccoons: This can kinda be a stretch, for raccoons probably wouldn't care about cats, like a few others on this list, but I'm sure a raccoon wouldn't miss the opportunity to take a kit who traveled away from camp?

Possums: These little suckers pack quite a few diseases, and should definitely be used more because they can be fierce.

Weasels: Weasels usually go after smaller prey like mice and voles, but a kit could easily be taken if they're alone.

Stoats: Stoats are very close to just being a weasel, but they are bigger and go after bigger prey, often going after full-grown rabbits! While they're not listed as an enemy of cats, they could easily do some damage. They don't seem to travel in groups, but a small tweak can make them do so. It's still a fiction book, so you can change some small things about animals.

Bobcats: These wouldn't be a common predator, more like a rare one, but it's still possible. Like the mountain lion, or Sharp Tooth (Sharptooth?) from the Tribe cats, if they're hungry bobcats could do some damage, but not in the middle of a forest. More like a mountain-like element.

Hawks: Come on. This is easy. Hawks are big enough to grab a smaller-sized cat. Big old warriors like Graystripe or my OC Boulderclaw couldn't be carried away, they're big beasts, but even cats sized like Firestar(I've always imagined him smaller than Graystripe) could be carried away.

Owls: Owls have been mentioned and shown in the main Warriors series of killing cats, and they could be used more for attacks.
