Clouded Skies: So Many Changes

First Draft:

The first draft started as Ravenpaw actually being a kittypet named Raven. He joined ThunderClan, made friends, got the deputy as a mentor, then started a relationship with the Clan's young medicine cat (sound familiar at all?). He tried to save a WindClan cat's life and failed and then stopped hanging around Featherpool (medicine cat) and started back to his warrior training because he had stopped for a bit. He goes to the Moonpool for the ceremonious journey and finds out he's actually a RiverClan cat.

He decides to stay with ThunderClan and is given the name Ravenstorm, then he goes to RiverClan to meet his parents and tell them he was alive (they thought he died in a storm) and they were super happy. They wanted him to join, he declined, and he found out his sister was Iceheart, a RiverClan cat he had made friends with as an apprentice.

He goes back to ThunderClan and quickly makes friends with Flamefeather, a she-cat who was an apprentice with him but never even talked to him, and they started hanging out. He got jealous when Ashclaw, his best friend, started getting close with another warrior. They got upset with each other and drifted apart then grew close again when ShadowClan attacked. He had a big fight with a cat he hated from ShadowClan, Rat(secret warrior name). They won the battle.

Not long after, a cat named Titan shows up.

He was friends with Ravenstorm in the Twolegplace and had been abandoned. He convinces Heatherstar to let Titan stay and tries to train him under the warrior code while also dealing with his troublesome apprentice. That's as far as I got.

Second Draft:

Ravenpaw was found in the forest as a young kit with his sister Willowpaw and raised by ThunderClan. He was given the deputy Boulderclaw as a mentor and was becoming a really good warrior, but some of the Clan really disliked him. A few moons into his apprenticeship he and Boulderclaw come across a young she-cat that looks like a fox and her two newborn kits. They find out she can't scent anything and bring her into the Clan.

Ravenpaw grows really close to her, then meets a ShadowClan apprentice named Rowanpaw. Boulderclaw finds out and after learning the tom's name, admits there is no Rowanpaw of ShadowClan and after getting detail, he found out it was actually an apprentice named Ratpaw. That's as far as I got.

(Btw, Rowanpaw from the current Clouded Skies, Rat(secret warrior name) from the first draft, and Ratpaw from the second draft are all the same cat, just changed over the years of writing the story)

Third Draft: 

Ravenpaw and Willowpaw were found as rogues but quickly were accepted into ThunderClan. They become apprentices (Ravenpaw under Boulderclaw the deputy again) but Goldenpool the medicine cat starts annoying Ravenpaw about the Clan being hurt or sick. He gets angry because she admits she thought he would make a good medicine cat. They argue then ignore each other. Ravenpaw gets past his first day of apprenticeship... Then I stopped writing it because I hated it.

Fourth Draft:

The one I have right now up on this account! I love it so much and I'm so excited to keep writing. It's so incredibly different. I finally made my own Clans and even the history about them. I kinda did a cliche and gave Ravenpaw a power, but it's important to the story. He also has three littermates now, and his father is Boulderclaw, who isn't the Clan deputy anymore but just a normal senior warrior.
