"I-I think he may be just using me but..." Jimin released a stressed sigh. "I kinda wish he isn't."
Jimin crouched down and hugged his knees. Namjoon had stopped what he was doing and stared down at the genie.
"You know it's just you being lonely... Right?" Namjoon closed the genie amd patted his shoulder reassuring. "Genies spend way too long time alone... That's why you get attached easily... Even to not the best people."
"I know..." Jimin groaned. "Still... Are we really not allowed to show affection? Do I have to stay forever alone? Is that the fate tattoed on my soul!?"
"No... But sadly, I doubt Yoongi would really free you to be honest... What was his wish... Be my slave..? So childish." Namjoon rolled his eyes and patted Jimin's back.
He helped the genie to get up and handed him a pretty gold chain with text in unknown to Jimin language also known as English to the mage.
"It was made by Wonho and powered by me. I must say it's kind of extraordinary but it's too early to reveal it's power. You will find out about it on your own eventually." Namjoon grabbed two tubes and sipped a bit of the fresh potion in them. "Take this too." He handed him one of the tubes. "The potion heals a lot of things... From small scratches to fatal wounds... I hope you don't have to use it though."
"Are you sure about giving them to me?" Jimin held tightly on the chain and stared at the green potion in the tube.
"Yes. Now go. Yoongi may search for you..." Namjoon sat on top of his desk almost falling off of it but managing to stay on top of it.
"Yeah... Thanks." Jimin nodded and exited the chamber (of secrets). He had a few surprises to meet that day but now we will concentrate on the nervous mage on the top of his desk.
He waited for Jimin to leave and quickly jumped off the desk, grabbing his amulet and leaving the chamber.
The young mage ran through the big garden filled with flowers until he finally noticed the lonely lake in sight.
Namjoon had always liked the lake ever since he was a little kid and was still in training under his mother. The lake was a pretty small one but its waters were with no sign of pollution. Above it a tall cherry tree was situated. The tree had just bloomed and its flowers we're falling in the water, creating a beautiful pink illusion. There was some fern and overly big seaweed showing over the waters. There were some corals in the lake of all colors - from blue to pink and even unusual black. Of course, lakes don't have corals or seaweed but this lake was no normal. It was an extraordinary one. It's waters we're brought from the clearest and deepest part of the ocean coming with a surprising gift by which even the previous sultan was amazed - a siren.
Namjoon closed the lake and was happy to see a familiar tail show on top if the water and disappearing again. In a few seconds the siren was on top of a rock, situated near the shore of the lake, and stared at his favourite mage.
"How are you, Merlin?" Jin giggled.
"It's a so-so. Thank you... Now... How are you?" Namjoon stepped closer to the rock and stared at Jin's bare torso.
"Aaah! Pervert!" Jin jokingly hid his chest.
"Stop playing around and just answer." Namjoon said tiredly.
"You are very no fun." Jin tried to say in the language Namjoon spoke while casting spells but he didn't know much of it so it came out rather fun and Namjoon chuckled. "Ya! Stop laughing! Ah!" Jin touched his tail at the place it hurt and whimpered a bit.
"So it's not good, huh..." Jin nodded sadly in response. "Drink this." Namjoon handed him the green potion and Jin stared with disgust at it.
"It smells funny." Jin mumbled.
"I don't care. Drink it and get better sooner." Namjoon huffed. He hadn't slept for a while causing him to be a bit aggressive. But Jin knew it very well so he didn't mind his words much and just gulped down the potion trying his best not to puke after.
"Can't you make them have better taste!? It's the same every time!!" Jin squeezed his eyes and wiggled in his place.
"I'm bad at cooking so no." Namjoon admitted and sat on the grass.
"Can't I do it then?" Jin asked with clear hope in his eyes.
"You will ruin the potion so no." Namjoon chuckled.
"Meanie." Jin pouted cutely and swang his head to the side.
"I love you too." Namjoon snickered as he looked at the blushing siren.
"S-shut up!" Jin refused to meet his eyes as he feared Namjoon would see the way they watered.
A siren couldn't love. That's what everyone said. But Jin did. He loved Namjoon. However, a siren which is cursed to look forever for someone to take over the curse is impossible to love human while having fins instead of legs. Jim's love was impossible to become true and that was why he'd tear every time Namjoon would remind him of the fact that he loved him back despite everything.
He was just one of the cursed in the world but he was the only suffering in Namjoon's eyes. Maybe that was also why Namjoon was obsessed with finding the way to save Jin from the curse, a way which didn't involve anyone else...
Even if that meant sacrificing himself.

May I say this is the start? 😇😈
