"Why did you do this!?" Jimin exclaimed as he glared at the other genie. They were now both inside of the silver lamp, surrounded by countless mirrors which weren't there originally and a lot of famous paintings. "Yoongi needs me!"
"Jimin, you aren't in a state which can help him. The most you can do is get in his way." Taehyung said not caring about the reaction from the other and stared at one of the mirrors.
"And why aren't you helping them then!? You have your lamp!" Jimin continued shouting at the other who just looked so done.
"I can't." Taehyung muttered and sat in front of one of the mirrors while Jimin preferred to stay up.
"Why?" Jimin scowled and looked around only just noticing the great nber of mirrors and feeling confused by it.
"The solar eclipse confused Jimin... Do you really think I'm not affected!? Do you really think you are not affected!?" Taehyung raised his voice but cleared his throat right after, trying to calm himself down.
"I... I know I'm affected by it..." Jimin stared at one of the mirrors. He didn't see what he thought was supposed to be his reflection. Instead, he saw himself from a lot if years ago when he was rampaging. His hair was messier and darker than usual. The white of his eyes was black and his golden eyes had lost their pretty color to become red. His hands were covered with blood and his shirt was even bloodier with stains all over it. His 'reflection' grinned and gained a crazy spark in its eyes as if it was madder than the Mad Hatter himself. It moved his lips as if talking but Jimin was unable to understand anything.
"You see it too?" Taehyung asked as he stared at his own reflection. However, his was a normal reflection of him with no strange eyes or signs of unusual moving and madness.
"W-what!?" Jimin was scared to answer. He had no idea whether Taehyung was seeing his crazy reflection as well or was referring to something else.
"Your reflection..." Tae sighed and gritted his teeth in anger as he glared at his own. "It's... Strange right..?"
Jimin slowly nodded his head and Tae clicked with his tongue, obviously becoming more and more annoyed with every glance he took at his reflection. "What is it?" Jimin asked softly, careful not to anger the silver genie more than his reflection already had.
"It shows your worst side... And most probably the one to show during the solar eclipse. I honestly hate it..." Taehyung ruffled his hair in distress and stared at his lap for a while before lifting his head up again.
"Then why are there so many mirrors?" Jimin questioned as he sat next to Taehyung, now feeling calmer and he had no idea why.
"To remind me what kind of monster I actually am... That's the way the lamp is designed..." Taehyung suddenly stood up and kicked the mirror in front of him, shattering the fragile material. The pieces went all over the place and some of them cut Tae's fist. However, he didn't pay much attention to the fact.
"What are you doing!?" Jimin exclaimed, moving aside from the broken mirror. He was so shocked by the sudden actions of the silver one that there was a small cut from the glass under his left eye.
"It was annoying..." Taehyung mumbled and sat back down. The mirror disappeared as if it was never there but in its place another mirror closed the boys as if to remind them everything. "What do you see?" Tae asked now calmer as they were both sitting on the ground again.
Jimin hesitated for a while and he honestly felt the same need as Taehyung and punch his reflection but did his best to stop himself from destroying. "Myself... After I killed..." Jimin mumbled as he refused to mention who and why he had killed. It was too personal to share, even with someone like Tae. "What about you?" Changing the topic from himself to Taehyung sounded nice in his head.
"Someone who doesn't exist... Someone who had lost everyone important to him because he had killed, cursed, taken the wrong decisions..." Taehyung touched the mirror and then dragged his nails down the smooth surface, letting out an awful sound.
"So it's not real?" Jimin wondered. Weren't the reflections their worst selves?
"It is... Probably." Taehyung sighed. "He isn't my current self but someone much younger, probably my pre-genie self." Taehyung chuckled bitterly. "Too bad I know nothing about him. But that's fine too... Not to offend but I don't want the Jafar effect."
Jimin snickered. "Not at all."
Just sitting and reflecting on their past and regrets was probably the most honest and peaceful moment of their friendship. However, everything had its end. And despite the fact that time flowed differently in the lamp, it was almost over...

Should I get on with the action finally? •3•
