13: Complications

Everyone at the Academy was now completely avoiding me. I sighed and sat down, buried my face in my hands while not making contact with anyone. I noticed Sasuke who didn't say anything to me but just sit and glance every now and then.

"Where's Kuzo?" Sasuke asked.

"He uhh, we talked yesterday and he decided to stay home this time." I answered while smacking my lips together.

"Hn...".

Sakura and Ino went through the door as they instantly came up to me and Sasuke. Sakura glared at me then once her eyes turned to Sasuke they became a sweet smile. Ino was the same, drawn by beauty (Sasuke) with an ugly personality (Herself).

"Sasuke-Kun! Ro...Can I squeeze between you two?" Sakura asked sweetly, sending flirtatious glances towards Sasuke. I could tell she was despising me for sitting next to him.

I sank in my seat as Sasuke said nothing.

"No! I'm sitting beside Sasuke!" Ino argued while slapping Sakura's arms away.

Sakura scoffed as Ino sneered. "Where's Kuzo huh?!" Sakura exclaimed.

Ino glanced at the place where Zuko was suppose to be but he wasn't there. Then she glared at me. "Hey Ro! Where's Kuzo-Kun?!" Ino exclaimed.

"He's at home you bimbo what did you think?" I answered.

Ino snarled. "Don't speak at me like that you plank board!" Ino yelled, clenching fists.

I tilted my head in confusion. "What? Plank board? Even I don't make such pathetic insults." I said.

I heard Sasuke snicker while looking towards the window which made me feel gratitude. 'At least he doesn't ignore me...' I thought with a slight grin.

'She's so dense...' Sakura and Ino both thought while looking down at her own chests. Then I got the hint but when I looked at my chest it was just fine. I was a B cupped person anyways. While these two bimbo's are barely A's.

With a sigh I just stood up and sat beside Naruto. That left Ino and Sakura sitting with Sasuke. I could feel Sasuke's inner frustration as I left that desk. But when I looked at Naruto he seemed quite happy. He made a smile while scooting for me to sit comfortably.

He grinned. "Yo! Ro-Chan!" He said waving his hand at me.

"Sup Naruto!" I greeted back as we clapped hands.

"Wanna be friends?" He asked with a smile. Then with no hesitation I said "Of course!". He smile drained off his face as he looked at me in shock. I raised an eyebrow.

"...what? Did I say something offensive?" I asked.

"No...just that your the first person who accepted my friendship..." Naruto mumbled.

My mouth slightly parted as I stare unbelievably. "No one accepted to be your friend?" I asked, then slammed my hands on the desk. "Ever?!".

He nodded then rubbed his neck sheepishly. "They say that I'm a monster but I don't understand what they meant..." He mumbles sadly.

Then that left me to my own thoughts. 'Why a monster?' I thought while pressing my bottom lip with my thumb. But I soon left those thoughts to memory when Iruka entered and classes began.

I tugged my masked which fit snuggly against the arch of my nose then looked out into the distance.

'Konoha' I thought, with the wind blowing past my hair.

I was standing upon a cliff where I could see for miles. Konoha was within those miles. I needed to get there, definitely. There has been rumors spreading around the Land of Fire.
